I don't doubt that they will add in extra characters in the dlc. It's not great but the game is fun. My main gripe with dlc is the maps. Because if people don't buy the maps they don't play them and getting people in a game sometimes makes it dificult for those who did buy the extra maps.
They are not trying to make an Arma Star Wars.
It's not a US Military training space simulator for other worldly combat. No. It's Battlefront.
I tried not to watch... but I couldn't help myself. 11 more days! Looks great.
From what it sounds like the beta was only scratching the surface of the full game. I know that is what people are basing their decisions off of but it was just a beta. Putting the game in third person also makes a huge difference to me. I'm gonna give it a shot.
I like the game but between The Witcher 3 and that? W3 all the way.
4 very odd people I assume.
F___ cancer!
Ok good. I typed that code in directly after I got it. Just made it seem like you had to have the disc in order to be a part of it.
I traded in my Wolfenstein. Do you still possibly get into the beta? Or do you have to have the disc loaded? It's a little confusing.
It's bad for a journalist to make a mistake like this, but writing an article on a single journalists mistake as the whole of gaming journalism seems a bit tabloid to me. It might have been better to cite other journalists mistakes when saying "gaming journalism isn't quite what it used to be". Perhaps even talk about click baiting articles too? There are a myriad of issues to cite.
Just saying.
@theparanerds...
Uh... then what would the point of pledging do though? If you had pledged money to this you would have literally gotten nothing in return. Just an email saying the campaign was canceled and no money was taken out of your banK account. So im not sure what you think pledging would have done.
I was going to play devils advocate until I read your comment. How embarrassing.
Yeah its getting really old. By this time if you are still questioning it you probably own both now.
Can't wait! Looks awesome!
"ALL ABOARD!!!!!"

Actually Fillion has been Buck for several Halo Games. He orginally started as an extra in Halo 3.
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/...
"In Halo 3: ODST not only does Nathan Fillion provide the voice for Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck, the character's physical appearance was modeled after the actor as well. Fillion also reprised his role as Buck for a cameo in the Halo: Reach level New Ale...
You're not really fooling anyone, but I appreciate the attempt at being polite. I can respect that.
OT: I think the song was pretty good with it. Glad they went with classic Muse.
This is probably best for the game in the end. It is sort of the spiritual successor (at least inspired by) PT. Sounds like they got the support they wanted and did the right thing.
IT would have just been a pledge since they didn't accept any money. Money is only taken out at the end of the campaign. IF the goal is reached.
Servers do go down... BUT I have found that a lot of PC gamers make servers to keep them up. Battlefront 2 can still be played on PC even though the servers have been long shut down. Gamers find a way.
They are hung up on the 60fps because when people played halo MCC in 60fps they loved it so much more. Its much more responsive gameplay at 60fps. So going forward they are gonna push 60fps across the board. Which I personally prefer with ANY game. They could lower the res on any game as long as it's 60fps.
