I don't really think this was about which was a better genre or game. The simple fact is that these are remade/remastered games. His point was you get all 4 games plus DLC for $60. Compared to one game with DLC for the same price. Xbox and PS do compete each other in that way especially since these are 1st party exclusives. So it could be that they dropped it down in price to appease both.
I think the gaming community should come together regardless of which side and not tolerate senseless hatred of peoples preferences. So what if its the internet. As a community we should hold people accountable for their actions. As it stands there is no repercussions for that behavior. Its not just about telling someone to get a tougher skin or leave. Or else you risk losing a large portion of the community that deserves their rightful real estate in the community.

In all fairness, fanboys on both sides have been crying about exclusives a lot. The writer does write about Xbox a lot though. I looked through his articles.
I am not the biggest Halo/Bungie fan there is even if it's still nostalgic. I can understand how someone who is a life long Bungie fan could be upset about this news though. The same could be said about Insomniac fans.
