Supposedly the early cloud demos where they were shooting the buildings into millions of chunks with cloud is also a part of it. So this developer may just be using it for grass and trees while other developers will use it for fully destructible environments. Its Physics and CPU.
Sorry but if I can do that in a game who cares if its 900p? But if that frees up some of the local CPU then it would also help with frame rates.
That's what I am saying. You can still play it if its not online. Imagine if we had the choice. I can almost bet that if you were to put two versions of the game on the shelf. One with Azure and one without. The Azure copies would sell more. Most people are always connected these days anyway.
I guess I am getting diagrees because people don't like TLOU. That's sad...
I can't wait to watch this game... :p
@amiga
Jeeesh way to take the piss out of the fun... Nothing like a low blow in an up beat comment.
Watch there will be an article how it only takes 19 mins and 37 seconds to port the game to PS4. The comments will light up with how Xbox takes forever to port to....
I can't wait to see the sales of the PC vs Xbox one. I bet xbox one still sells more of either game. People are silly. I love PC but until these games go into the bargain steam bin they won't be sought after. DR3 will probably sell better but Ryse just isn't the game to sell even if it looks better on PC.
That's not a bad assumption. I really like borderlands.
Well from the sound of it, this game is probably going to be a bit like The Last Of Us gameplay in a way. Which isn't a bad thing. The only thing that would make it or break it would be the story.
I agree, but you are not going to get a lot of friends for saying that. Just a heads up.
I played the alpha on PS4 and the beta on both the PS4 and XB1. I completely understand what you mean. The game is fun but I felt like I was just sort of running through the motions of the game. Not truly invested in the story or anything. It just feels bit bland to me. Character-wise and everything. Gameplay is cool but still.. Nothing made me want to play it over again. Even though I pl...
It really is great to hear.SK is a really great game and an excellent break from today's futuristic *robot noise* over polished games. I enjoyed it and I plan to play it again.
I actually really like it.
BTW If anyone is using Steam Skins you are gonna want to change the folder name of the skins. I had real issues trying to load Steam with them on. Makes sense since this is changing the look of steam. Best to let it update the new way and add the skins later when patched.
See I think that's fair. A lot of people tend to gang up on people for their preferences and I think that's crap. Just because someone gets more agrees, likes, dislikes, bubbles or upvotes doesnt mean they are right or wrong. I don't like the words fanboy, pony, xbot, shill or any other such down speak in the community. To each their own.
Online it just seems that some people will not sleep until one company is out of business or they convince someone to like what...
Until you call PS customer service... :p
Very True. Unless you only get/can afford one system. Then you have the right to berate and belittle someones preferences. *sarcasm* The internet is a lovely place to have civil conversations by the way. :P
That would be a lot of work. Still PS4 is more popular so the general public will sway the disagree/agree ratio soon enough. Don't worry...
I am definitely getting this on PC. I tend to play my RPG's more on PC anyway. I am sure all ports will be fine. These guys seem to be all about honoring every platform and every gamer.
IF you bought 1 and 2 on steam you get a discount on top of your pre-order as a thanks. That's pretty awesome of Projekt Red.
Seems like this game is surrounded by a cloud of FUN. I look forward to playing this. Can't wait to not take everything so seriously while laughing.
What games do gamers not complain about?
Well if PS Now doesn't work out they will have a lot of extra servers on deck. I agree though this is good for everyone.
