If that's the reason you buy or don't buy something you might be gaming wrong. Popularity should not deter your enjoyment of something. Just a thought.
That's actually one of the disappointing factors I found. The fact that Earth is the entire Russia map that we already played on. Until there is DLC that is the only map Earth has. So each planet expect about the same thing. One map. That's what made my hype go wayyyyyyy down.

I think it has more to do with how many people are gaming on which system (regardless of reason) and less to do with specs etc. There are simply more people on PS4.

Well if everyone does that the place that rents the game out has to buy more copies to rent. So that just means they sell more copies in the end. So there is no way to "show them" you're angry with your wallet. You are still helping them sell games.

I wonder what the hype is considered for Destiny? People seem to treat it as a console exclusive. Hope the hype doesn't bury Destiny too. Too much hype can do that. Regardless of a beta.
Demos are designed to make the person interested in buying their product while conveying the root of the gameplay.
I am not arguing if its a good game or not but maybe its not the game for him or his expectations.
Guys the article isn't saying that consoles are pointless. So nobody has to feel slighted. For those that don't know about PC gaming its a great way to game. Not only that these computers do a lot more than just a gaming machine. They can also potentially make games and more.

As long as you are saying timed exclusivity is bad across the board. You can't favor one for not doing it while praising the other for timed content. ie. Destiny or any other title. That would just be hypocritical.

Yeah you are right they usually divulge all the details of every game so other developers can take that information. It may have been developed earlier although I am not sure thats 100% true. As Titanfall has had a working demo since E3 2013. Point being. I am not the only one who feels COD AV took a few signature Titanfall things.

I love seeing how journalists still looking to pass the console war torch. Why not just write an article about how excited they are for PS Plus games this month? Would have been a better read and then you wouldn't come across like this. Seems to me most of us are growing tired of console wars.
