I was told that a price hike for Sony games was good news. Wonder how amazed you guys are with this one.
Well there are a couple of more questions than these two. For example: "How much?"

Well keep your fingers crossed then, but I highly doubt it that all of these games and all of these studios will be on PS5.

A lot of RPG players will pick a Xbox over a PS5 for it. But no, Sony is not doomed.
And here I am, not getting my Xbox preordered, because I had to go to the dentist. Awesome.

A price hike for their games to 80€ to counter GamePass might not have been the best idea.

Nope, but it delegitimize is ridiculous price point. 7h expansion should not cost 50€.
Compare this with “The Lost and Damned” or “The Ballad of gay Tony” for GTA IV. These expansions didn’t cost half the price and offered 20h of great gameplay.
Yeah, because the current ecosystem was so bad. Ever game developer had a minimum wage and they could not build bigger and better games with 70€ games.

And your whole argument crumbles when you notice that the Xbox business was profitable in the first place.
Instead they have increased prices to 80€ / $70 per game.
What a ripoff
That is great news.
If this decreases game files by 30%, you will be able to store as many games on it as on the PS5.
When Sony is selling a remaster for 80€, then there should be outrage. Don’t blame Eurogamer for it.
I just don’t get why neither Sony nor Square Enix are just straight up clarifying this issue.
6 months exclusive for PS5. After that Windows PC and another 6 Months later on Xbox. That would be totally fine. Instead we get this back and forth, it is stupid.
Yeah, you need to invest about $200 in storage for both systems as a core gamer.
Let’s face it, the PS5 can probably store 5 full games and the Xbox Series X can store 6 games. This will be filled in Q1 2021.
