The point you guys don't understand is that games that use Kinect can be for the Core audience as well. Games like Haunt, Project Draco, Rise of Nightmares, codename D, Steel Battalion are hardcore games using Kinect. Go to YouTube and check the trailers for yourselves.

I think we will see a new generation in 2012. The current generation is aging, the Xbox 360 will be in its 7th year in a few months. That is a longer period of time than the PS2 was on the market without a successor.
Of course this won't stop fanboys from saying 'OMG M$ killed the xbox again'

I never got why the media tried to make Alan Wake look bad. It is such a fun game with a unique way of telling the story. The "previous on Alan Wake - Style" worked so damn well.
Alan Wake surely is a franchise with a lot of potential. With Silent Hill and Resident Evil doing not as hot as they used to last gen, it is not a bad idea to position your franchise in this genre.
