It's NOT a mandatory install. Read the article. It's extra content. It's a much better option than putting it out as down-loadable content, and charging you more for it. Most studios would have done that.
I think it's great they put it on another disk instead.
Not that it's going to be fun to install it, but it's nothing ps3 fans arn't used too. I remember playing through Metal Gear (I do have a PS3), and sitting through 4 installs....that was a bit too much.
This isn't...
So disregard .
Gears and Uncharted do rock.
But Mail man...
You're still dead wrong.
You've never played on a good pc have you?
I have a PS3, 360, and even the little Wii.
My PC crushes them all without flinching.
Please don't fill the forums with ignorance,
PC owns any console. It's just fact.
I'm sure fanboys and idiots will disagree, but that's just a fact of life.
I'll be hosting a party too, just for the free copy though.
It's destined to be more of a Gears of War fest than anything related to Windows 7, but if it scores me a copy I'll install it while others are here.
I really like the OS. I feel it's a good step forward. I never cared to much for XP. I always felt Vista was better. Maybe not faster, but it made more sense for me.
Have never came across someone who used the combination.
Must be a minority.
An english version?
Never seemed to be a big deal to me anyway...?
But toooo much.
Adobe was at the big launch for the ATI 5XXX cards, said to be showing off some stuff. We'll see.
A good source on the ATI forums hints that it's coming to ATI cards.
And the GTP demo...
No comparison. I'm sorry... Just no.
Now GT5 may come out being pretty good. Just GTP is dated, and it shows.
I have it...and it's kind of boring to be honest.
GT needs to mix things up.
And from what I've seen in the Forza 3 demo, the graphics don't compare.
Now we'll have to wait and see about the full GT5 game, whenever it makes it to shelves. No judgements till I play it.
check your math buddy : )
Comes out to 9.5/10
Better than I expected.
Is these games where ported to DX11.
Games that are built from the ground up with DX11 in mind will make much better use of it.
I do agree though, the house looks fantastic. The other two...meh.
I was hoping that Dirt2 would use the same effects for rock and trail effects. We'll see.
says have mercy...
Would love to take advantage of this, but space is limited.
at what developers can squeeze out of consoles. Both the PS3 and the 360 only have a tiny 512 ram, and outdated video cards, but they find ways to push them so hard, and so far. It amazes me! Some games even rival pc. Not in terms of resolution, or frame rates. But overall appearance.
These guys are very talented.
Cranking the graphics all the way up, including AA gets me better frame rate than turning them down....
Odd enough.
Grid looks amazing on the PC though.
I played the demo on pc, and it runs horrible!
Crysis runs better than that poorly optimized pos.
But then again, I hear there are issues with the game running on ATI cards...
So we'll see.
As for Forza, and GT, I'm kind of getting tired of them both. Forza demo was fun enough, but I know I won't buy it. I may rent it. After playing through 4 GT's, and 2 Forza tittles, I think I have most of my fix there.
But Dirt 2 is rocking my console right now.
I...
That you still had to use the ps3 controller in the left hand...
or at least so far. I know it's still in prototype stage.
This thing would melt my case...
And I would love it :)
Really liked it.
Mostly I dug the OLED (big videophile here). Very nice :)
But the effects where slick, and it did have a nice feel to it.
However, I won't buy this or the Ipod (which is also nice) as I simply have no use for it...
If I'm on the go I have more to do than listen to my player.
