Welcome.
""I wouldn't recommend anyone buy an Xbox One over a PS4. The PS4 has more games and it runs multi-platform games better. It is, quite rightly, the default console to own this generation." - from article.
This. I agree No Thanks Microsoft, you had your chance and you blew it. Thanks for all the fish though. Better luck next generation.
Great write up. Always enjoy the back stories of these vaults some you have to price together from terminal logs or remains of those long dead.
I wonder when we will ever fully go head on against the evil masterminds of vault tec.
@Lamboo
Lol.. Nice joke post I got a good chuckle out of that one. You should also add in cloud and secret sauce will power dynamic deformation of the deathstar! Lol
Answers simple - vast majority of ps4 sales for the past two months have been preorders for the black ops 3 and starwars ps4 bundle which don't count towards sales for NPD.
The sole uncharted bundle drove the 275k est sales against the Halo 5 Xbox bundle which has built up across several months with sales coming through and reflecting in the October 300k count.
Black ops and Star Wars ps4 bundles cumulative sales from preorders will hit November month so NPDs for ...
H2o if that's the case I wouldn't trust a review that was written based off of 10hrs of play for a multiplayer title. That's not even enough time to level up to unlock some of the more impactful elements of the game better cards, weapons and abilities.
Septic Xbox barely beat ps4 and that was with 4 months of halo bundle preorders kicking in this month.
Black Ops and Star Wars ps4 preorder bundles have been charting in the top 10 for a couple month on Amazon.
Guess what's going to happen with those bundles actually sell this month? Yep you guessed it. :)
Someone or should I say some site is going to get blacklisted by EA. Don't believe review embargoes up yet but better to wait to read reviews from the big reputable sites tomorrow.
If you want to blame someone blame microsoft as they have exclusive marketing for both fallout 4 and tomb raider. They knew well in advance of the release date for fallout and could have moved tomb raider out of dodge instead of releasing it to the slaughter as the publisher that is their responsibility to the developer - crystal dynamic/square Enix.
Hasn't it been proven that ps4 has more exclusives than Xbox one overall in the past two years? Not only in sheer number in but in variety in indie, Triple A, Double AA, indie triple A, etc... Maybe I'm missing something here, I recall last year and even earlier this year the media was praising Sony on releasing great digital titles every month while complaining that the Xbox was going through a dry spell.
How we all suffer from having a memory of an ant.
Moron should have used the regular charger for the controller instead of using a cellphone charger.
Lol at the people on reddit telling him not to tell Sony he used a cellphone charger when calling into support.
If it was a iPad charger that would have been worse as those things output 12 watts.
" Fallout 4's stutters and hiccups only add to the trouble here, especially on Xbox One when switching weapons mid-fight. PS4 has its own struggles though, with effects-heavy battles taxing the hardware to a greater degree, despite holding a better frame-rate while traveling the world at large"
So ps4 better framerate overall but struggles during taxing battles like deathclaw and Xbox one has lower framerate overall and stutters when switching weapons and other ...
So what I've gleaned so far - NX does an first initial impressions on the first hour of gameplay and if you watch the video right at the first deathclaw fight in concord he exclaims ps4 struggles during intense fire fights and says he will continue to do a deep dive.
Internet gets whipped into a frenzy saying ps4 suffers.
Looking over at DF they say that from their extensive play through only the deathclaw battles (small number in grand scheme) ps4 has a performan...
Lol girl says "how does it work?" And shows a bunch of menu navigation..
Girl says "what about physical copies?" Guy says "like this.." And throws in arbitrary 360 game into X1 and shrugs LOL.
Video is gold :)
This is concerning from an industry standpoint that both consoles sold so poorly when compared to historical sales.
Xbox one moved 303k with halo 5 in contrast to 550k with halo 3. Ps4 despite a price cut moved 275k (per gaf). Consoles should be selling north of 400k this month by now.
Arguments about Black Friday and bundles seem moot if you consider these are regular annual occurrences. I wonder if it's due to higher than normal sales earlier in the ye...
Well if you actually looked at the pictures instead of a gut reaction you would see how terrible the AA is and you would agree with me that's pretty bad for a next gen title.
Wow zoom in on those pictures...what's up with the AA. Especially noticeable on the indoor shots like the blue uplink boxes look pretty rough.
Don't forget that bloodborne is still the highest rated first party game to release this year which is a Sony owned IP.
"The fact that performance often feels rather unstable throughout only serves to suggest that perhaps pushing for a full 1080p on Xbox One in this case has taken its toll."
First Fallout now Tomb Raider, I swear Microsoft needs to layoff its 1080p crusade. DF makes a good pony using ryse as an example in superior image quality at lower res
