From the official site (if you click on the red bubble on the left), there will be custom soundtracks in this game. The explanation says you can choose any music stored on your PS3.
I think this will be the first on PS3 that you can choose custom soundtracks, and pretty much confirms that firmware 2.40 will allow developers to add custom soundtracks into the game.
This game will be released on Japanese PSN on 6/26 for 1500 yen ($15).

It's all guesses now on how good their technology is. Although IMO there is probably no way something like this will ever be as good as true Hi-def, but it definitely gives people that can't afford blu-rays a cheaper choice.
Also this is good news nevertheless because this means all the DVD's we owned won't be garbage in the future, as of now all the upscaling still looks pretty crappy on Hi-def TV.

The article did hint at the game play being changed and has focused game design to utilize the new Wii controller, to make the game even scarier.
You still have a camera and that's part of the storyline, but the article emphasized "horror by touch", so I'm guessing (purely my guess) you have to pick up a lot of things and it scares you by rumbling?
If there's a lot of interaction by utilizing the nunchucks, like using it to pick up stuff, opening doors and such,...

I bought it cuz it was cheap. I wouldn't care about the song other wise but it's decent compared to some other songs on Rock Band.
But yeah, main reason was because this song was cheap.
Yeah there are TONS of good PS1 games on the Japanese PSN store.
I really wish PSN can become universal so at least people have the option to buy download games from other countries, regardless of the language barrier, let the users choose.
Well there wouldn't be a problem if US Sony just do what they should've done in the first place: Put the damn PS1 games up on PSN!!
They have song editor and that's what I'm counting on. I don't mind spending the money and retire my Rockband set if I can download user made music/content so I can at least get the songs that I like.
They can even charge for user made songs and I won't care (well, make it 50 cents a song for user share function or something). Because this will mean the songs will come out faster and more chances that everybody can find songs that they like.

I wish they will sell mod kits to allow cymbals to be placed at different positions (farther out). Drumming on such a tiny confined area makes this set not much better than the PS2 Drum Mania drums.
IMO the Drum Mania arcade set-up is the most ideal (Rock Band drums + 1 extra cymbal farther out), so your arms can stretch out when you play and feel more like you are drumming the real thing.

SF IV is definitely stylized. Too bad you guys didn't like it though, I thought even character design in SFIV was kinda wacky but it comes out artistically as a package.
TvC looks great too, and I say the more fighting games the better, as long as it has online play when it comes to consoles =)
I wish the character roster is alot bigger.... doesn't seem like they will add hidden characters either...
I'll probably be a sucker and end up buying this one just for some online vs action, but I wish when part 2 comes around they won't screw us again by putting in like 5 more characters just so we would end up buying the game again when part 3 comes around....
Maybe an extra characters download pack would be good, but don't make it individual characters cuz that would me...
