I hated FF XII, almost as much as I hated XIII and X-2. It was such a step back, kind of like VIII was.
FFX-2 is when FF went downhill. FF VII, IX, and X were the best Final Fantasy titles. All FF titles released after X are garbage and true fans don't play them.
They should just go software in my opinion.
The game releases in early March..this game isn't really in Alpha stage, unless they're looking to delay it to 4Q or 2015. This is early Beta at best. Just clearing that up for everyone.
Unlike many of you I had an original game boy, all of them up until gameboy advance, which released when I was 11 to be fair. It collected dust fairly quickly, but even then it had better games than 3DS. The 3DS game library is embarrassing....I worked at a gamestop so I was very familiar with the inventory, demographic, and top selling games for the platform.
Only 7 year olds have a 3DS.

Shouldn't this game be in Beta phase right now? Alpha at the very latest should be 6 months prior to release.
Dreamcast is argued to be a great console yet it was still a disaster as it didn't sell well at all and Sega lost money on it.
