A game that is actually deserving of a GOTY?
I see no reason to buy new just to support developers/publishers that release unfinished or broken games and dlc rape you at every turn.
The only reason I buy new is because I prefer to be the only person to ever own my shit.
If you are wondering, I haven't bought a game with an Online Pass and never will. If I really want to play it, I will just rent it.
But it has more to do with the bar being repeatedly lowered by competition rather than Resistance 3 being a great game or even a very good game.

Not getting GOTY is the biggest gaming let down for this year.
Btw, why is anyone let down about Skyrim's bugs and glitches? Have you not played any of Bethesda's games?
It's a let down that nearly all the quests of the major questlines are an absolute bore and the retarded difficulty spikes.
Most of them are not Spiderman 3 bad, but they still suck.
The fact I can annihilate the entire Stormcloak Army with ease, but fighting a whole town's guards is pretty much suicide.
