Not really an issue for PC gamers. Honestly, anyone who can afford a decent gaming PC can afford to get one or both (Wii doesn't count) consoles as well. Not trying to sound like an elitist but I think on average PC gamers are probably older and are more likely to have a job. I enjoy the best of both worlds.
I'm so sick of people claiming that the beta will be nothing more than a demo because there is no time to fix problems before the game is released. There will be a week one or perhaps day one patch that will address issues that arise from the beta. Wouldn't you rather play the game a month before release and have a fix by launch or would you rather wait until Nov. for a patch? I agree that the beta will also be used for marketing purposes but don't think DICE will do nothing while...

Try playing a round of Conquest on Arica Harbor with your spawn on the high side (US deployment?) and having every building leveled. If the opposing team captures all of the flags they will just mow you down as you come down the hill. Tell me that's balanced. I want lots of destruction just like everyone else but it has to be well thought out.

Well I'll be chatting on Skype with far superior sound quality than either PS3 or 360 game chat. I also won't be paying to play online. Oh yeah, I'll have better graphics, larger maps, and 64 players. You console war faggots need to stop arguing about which system is better.
I really don't WANT it to outsell CoD. EA will probably try and force DICE to churn out games and DLC more often and BF will just become another milked franchise.

Really depends on your budget but....
Try to go for a quad core if you can. I'm assuming you don't want to change motherboards so if you're staying with 1156 at least go with an i5. RAM is fine. GTS 450 would run it on low-medium settings I would think? A 560 Ti should run it on high (maybe not HighEST) and they are pretty reasonably priced.
