Got mine in yesterday and after a long night of partying I was excited to wake up this morning, hook everything up, and play some AC4. However!!! I was met with the dreaded pulsing blue light :( I tried a different TV, HDMI cable, unplugging and plugging the HDD back in, booting into safe mode (which it wouldn't do) to no avail. Got in touch with Sony and they are sending me a box. I swear I must have the WORST luck because the exact same thing happened to me with my very first 360...RROD...

I just had to put 4 new tires on my wife's car and get her an alignment. So $720 later and I couldn't justify the purchase of a new console right now so I had to cancel my Amazon pre-order. :( :(

To the people who keep saying things like, "There aren't any games on PC that look THAT much better than on consoles..." I would like to point out that you're forgetting about the fact that PC games aren't usually optimized as well. Devs HAVE to squeeze every ounce out of the consoles and take all kinds of shortcuts to make the game looks good. On PC, they just throw a bunch of power at the game and make sure it runs smoothly. Just wanted to update about my console. Even though I processed a return via Sony I decided I didn't want to wait that long and seeing that people have had some luck with Amazon CS I thought I'd give that a shot. Just finished up with a rep and she processed a replacement delivery and said it should be here by the end of the week! I love Amazon. Now I just have to wait until I get it, verify that it works, and cancel the return with Sony. This should be much quicker than waiting for t...
