They fixed a lot and listened to fans who were complaining. They brough it back to its roots, at least, that's how it seems so far.
The PR guy talked to me a LOT about Deus Ex so, yeah, that's fair. Not as action oriented as Dishonored though.
It feels sooo good to be really lazy though. And I love being able to do netflix/tv stuff when i'm working at my desk.
The PS4 does have prettier graphics though and wayyy shorter install times.
There's not a ton out for XBO right now either. I really like mine, but it's basically all action/shooter stuff with little variety. Dead Rising 3 is great though. If you get one game, get that one. But yeah, I want a PS4 too. And a Steam Machine. And Oculus Rift. And a Falcon Northwest Mach V. And a dragon. Then I'll be happy.

How is this relevant? If you want cross-generation comparisons why don't we compare, oh I don't know, ANY of the half-dozen games coming to current and last gen systems? To compare arguably one of the best games on PS3 with an Xbox One launch title and claim anything other than flamebait is ridiculous.
I agree Fallout fans can be passionate and get carried away. And I wrote several things defending Pete Hines back in January when PS3 owners were hammering him on a daily basis over Skyrim DLC. But the recent survivor 2299 website debate is what inspired my anger in this post. If that site turns out to be a hoax Bethesda is culpable for just letting it be and refusing to comment. Well I think of Fallout as more of an RPG than a straight-up shooter. It's slower paced, more exploratory with a complex story. Wolfenstein seems to be an attempt by them to be more like Bioshock/COD.
I see your point. I was arguing that they wouldn't pass up a VGX reveal to reveal on a site just a few days later. It COULD be the official site for the game going live but as I point out in the rest of the article survivor2299 has too many red flags for me to consider it legit. Especially since Bethesda has been pretty traditional with their marketing efforts in the past.

I think we 360 owners are just used to a system that sounds like semi-trucks having sex everytime it boots up. The silence is disarming. But yeah, I had several minor panic attacks waiting for things to load last night.
MW3 PC has a 2.3 on 5340 user ratings.
Black Ops 2 PC has a 3.6 on 1220 user ratings on metacritic.
Ghosts PC has a 1.7 on 1232 user ratings.
So even if "this happens on Metacritic for EVERY CoD" this time around it's worse than before. So either this faceless army of CoD hating trolls is getting more organized or maybe, just maybe, CoD: Ghosts is worse than its predecessors. I'm not saying metacritic is perfect by any means...
All reviews are subjective to a point, but I used metacritic to highlight just how negative the reaction has been so far. Sure, some of it is BF4 fanboys piling on but if you read the comments a lot of them are from COD fans who are dissatisfied with the game.
I agree user scores aren't completely reliable, but when you have close to 2k "0" ratings on a supposed AAA-grand slam game within a few days of its release there's definitely a problem.

It's also worth mentioning that the writing in this article is HORRIBLE and he even gets the graphic wrong. Anyone covering Fallout 4 knows that its Bethesda Game Studios that's developing the game, not Bethesda Softworks.

Awesome video.
@Seaport There were earlier reports that this new version would feature more combat and have XP, but the devs changed their minds. They've actually said the melee system is deliberately weak to discourage players from fighting guards. As I mention in the article I ran into two guards at once and was told its basically impossible to fight two guards at once and win. These guys really listened when fans got upset over the proposed changes and it shows.
