It was nice, fun game. But personally, I played it through once and didn't have the urge to go for another try. I finished games like Dragon Age Origins 3 times, The Witcher 3 four times, Oblivion twice, Skyrim twice, Mass Effect 1 twice, Torchlight 2 twice, etc. I don't know exactly what it is about DOS2. Perhaps I'm a bit turned off by the turn-based aspect. Or maybe it was something else. But all in all, I enjoyed the one-time experience and that's good enough for me.

To be fair, in light of the huge backlash against MTs, they weren't going to say, "Yes, we are trying to join the loot-box club" are they? Even if they were to actually consider implementing loot-boxes in CP2077, they weren't going to come out and say it while gamers are vocally rebelling against anything related to loot-boxes. They're not stupid.

Gamers are way too easy to rile up and way too easy to appease again. Personally, I'll always remember...

ARRRABHGDADAHDHBDAHDBHABDAD RAGE RAGE RAGE NAME-CALLNG RAGE RAGE. Just let me keep raging on. Let me keep raging at others on the internet. Let me tell them what to do as if any of them would listen to me.

That's because it is. They don't want to lose any of their precious first week/month sales numbers. So they announce they've dropped MTs for now(keyword "for now"). And after the sales numbers are good enough, they'll bring it back, in one form or another.

I don't know why some people are being so gullible when they are well aware of EA's track record. I'd love to do business with those people. I'll be rich in no time.

I used to think there's a difference between the two terms a few years ago. I've recently realized there's only one difference between them. One is brash and vocal in their approach and the other is quiet and subtle in theirs. But at the end of the day, they both breathe, live and believe in the same things. Beat them in a heated debate and they'll start to spew out the same toxic lines their "liberal arts" teachers or "gender studies" professors tell them ...

I'm leaning more towards 80-20. Its the loud feminists that over-exaggerate the female gaming population to push their agenda. And no, I'm not taking mobile gamers into consideration here.

In truth, no one actually takes User Scores to heart per se. But that being said, a disproportionately low user score usually means "Proceed with caution", since a lot of so-called professional reviewers can't often be trusted.

Personally, I give way more weight to the professional reviews. However, when there is a huge sea of gap between the average Professional score and average user score, I usually take it to mean that there is either something really wron...

Who approved this? Its just rambling nonsense about how loot-boxes tick all the criteria to be classed as "gambling", but for some weird reason according to the author, they should not be because......of.......reasons. ....like.....like....ummmm....

UGH! Its that time of the month again, eh?

Why are cosmetic products mostly aimed towards girls?
Why are skirts mostly marketed towards girls?
Why do female models get paid significantly higher wages than their male counterparts?
Why does Emma Watson constantly complain about women getting paid less at work while she makes significantly more than most male actors her age?
Why are women not required to sign up for the draft like men are? ...

@JBaby343 - How old are you? Surely you're not THAT naive. Come on.

@JBaby343 - They WILL come back with something shady. You can quote me on that. The only reason they've temporarily "removed" MTs is to prevent loss of initial sales revenue. They're counting on gullible people to think MTs are permanently removed and pay the $60 upfront. Have you learned nothing about EA's shady shit this past decade?

@AnubisG - It seems reviewers were given altered copies by EA where everything is pre-unlocked or something like that. If that's true, its another dick move by EA.

Jeezus, is there really no end to the scumminess of this company?

They can have a 10/10 review from me. Its just that I'm keeping it locked behind one of my billion loot boxes. They can try their luck if they want. Only $20 per box.

LMAO at this review -

"Play as the role as Loot Skywalker in Credit Card Wars : Gamble Front 2. The only thing that works properly in this game is the mini game where you insert your credit card details. The Android and Apple store would be proud of your achievements."

@JackBNimble - All Disney cares about is public image. Not gamers. That's why EA pulled the MTs "for the time being". To appease Disney. Currently they're already thinking of plans to re-introduce MTs, like cosmetics, for example. You really think they won't try this sort of P2W system one way or the other once gamers get used to having cosmetic MTs in-game? C'mon. This is EA we're talking about. They're probably just waiting for all the uproar to die down be...

I don't believe even for a second that developers are completely innocent in these kind of situations. People love to put all the blame on the publishers, which in many cases may be true, but I tend to believe that developers are not the completely innocent and helpless sheep that some gamers make them out to be. Sure, the publishers will rightly shoulder the majority of the blame, but I can't help but fault the developers to a certain extent as well.

Making it cosmetic will still open the door for them to gradually re-introduce the current MT mechanics after a a certain period of time. All this shenanigans started due to the fact that gamers accepted "cosmetic" MTs. That emboldened them to push for new intrusive mechanics like P2W loot boxes. So I say screw "cosmetic" MTs, and any form of MTs for that matter.

The only answer is permanent removal of any kind of MTs from paid games.
