That's a helluva resume to have. I'm still not sure about what the game is about but it reminds me a bit of those breaking-out-of-regular-life flash games a little bit. I played one where you do the same thing like a job and it gets boring and that's the point. You find new stuff to do and it's pretty funny and VERY relatable. I'm interested!

Seriously, though, it looks great! XCOM comparison alone makes me perk up a bit and the aesthetics look great and just having a group called steam powered giraffe makes me smile and glad you put effort into having better music. Very excellent!
Agree with fox, too. If he simply said, "Sorry, everybody. We didn't handle it well. We had a great opportunity and we squandered it." then it would at LEAST bring some humility and humble pie but he didn't say those things.

Now would be a good time to take a stand against this kind of behavior. Asking ANYONE to pay for content that:
A. Hasn't been created yet (at least, that's what they tell us)
and
B. Has zero quality control standards

Duke can come back, just whatever the FULL story is behind duke forever is we'll probably never completely know (even though there is stuff out there, I just don't think it's the whole story).
Duke is, at heart, a satirical take on things. It was a satirical tough-guy 80's/90's action hero where he got his start so he may have to be updated a little but there is plenty of room to poke fun but what made duke really stand out was the fun gameplay in duke3d....
This was absolutely NOT a disappointment. You can NOT get a barrel of lube for less than $1200 anywhere. I've checked repeatedly.

Sounds like a neat idea but didn't see too much gameplay in the trailer. Fingers crossed! Music had great atmosphere, reminded me of some earlier ssx games and that was cool.
