Atari sure has had a rough time since their successful period. I would like them to emerge and take a position of power again since my only real atari memories are from way back in the day.
I miss you, Duke. I miss what you were. Come back to us soon, please. Gearbox, you have to come back strong with him or his already-tarnished name will be lost.
At the very least, I think giving out all the banjo games on 360 would be a nice way to get some player support for Rare back. Remind us all that they used to be so, so good back in the day. Have a Rareware month or two and give all their games from the good era to us. Perfect dark, banjo kazooie, banjo tooie, I've wanted to try nuts and bolts, too (I know, I know). Even if they can't do something with them anymore, let us at least be nostalgic about Rare.
Let's change the title some, shall we? "You're going to die. You parents hated you before they died. Your pets want to kill you. Your significant other is cheating on you RIGHT NOW and you have cancer in your anus."
That way you can get more clicks, right?
I hope it's fun. I really do miss the idea of not having multiplayer in this. Some GREAT times in Return to Castle Wolfenstein and some not-so-great times in the last one.
Yeah. I didn't think so. That attitude will serve you well at McDonald's.
I do miss those days sometimes. I guess that's nostalgia by definition.
I'm not a fanboy on any side, here, but... I don't suppose you see the irony of saying "your embarrassing", do you?
Yeah, it's not that I'm actively against 1080p, it's that I don't care if it's not achieved. You see, you have taken a stance against even playing games that don't meet your qualifications of what a game should LOOK now despite whatever that game might be.
Watch Dogs might be bad. It might be good. I am willing to find out and have fun with whatever experience they put out as the premise seems interesting enough to try. You, however, have decided that ...
I actually wasn't trying to be a jerk, I was asking if you are young enough to have played video games before the HD era or not.
You see, I wanted to know if I should simply disregard your opinion because of how young and arrogant you might be or if your mental handicap was preventing you from enjoying life beyond numbers (the kind you seem to obsess over).
I guess it doesn't matter, really.
I know YOU won't ever know for sure since you decided those numbers are more important than anything that game will have to offer, right, pumpkin?
Dude, any fanboy is cocky. Any one who considers themselves a fanboy has essentially drawn a line in the sand of the gaming horizon and said, "This is the side I chose and will defend it from anyone or anything."
It is really counterproductive to gaming when you look at it objectively.
He's not going to have a lot of fun with games anymore. I don't think he even sees the games at this point. Just the numbers.
Yeah! That'll show them! Stupid Ubisoft putting gameplay first and making sure it's fun. Jerks.
Did you game before the HD era at all?
Look, resolution is always nice when it's there. It's always great to hear how something can look as good as something can look in its time. But in your gaming memories, what do you remember most?
Do you remember the first time you played GTA 3? Did you scream about its resolution or did you have fun jackin cars and screwin' around?
Do you remember ripping scorpion's head and spine out or were you pissed at how the graphics looked?
...
Doom truly deserves better than this. In all likelihood, though, the id many of us grew up with probably died the second Zenimax bought them. I don't have high hopes for Doom 4 anymore but I am hoping to be proven wrong. I will welcome it.
don't you say that! don't you ever say that! I'm not listening to you!
Opinion of this game aside, you don't think some games deserve a 2? I want you to play the original mortal kombat on the original game boy (or on an emulator lol) and sit there and tell me with a straight face some games don't deserve a 2 (or in that case a 1).
Hands down one of the worst games I have EVER played, and I loved MK a lot back then so that sucked even more.
The bandwagon was jumped when modern warfare came out. Then it was all about brown graphics and military lingo, set in a desert.
Who would've thought 10 years ago that we wouldn't mind killing some nazis again?
