It's annoying that companies depended on pre-orders as a dependable sales figure for ANYTHING. The only time preorders made sense was when limited amount of copies came in. Did anybody really think there would be a shortage of GTA5? Does anybody think there will be a shortage of Destiny?
There is no reason to preorder anymore. The little carrot-on-a-stick DLC preorder bonus is almost always released later as seperate DLC, so what are you gaining? Immediate access to a med...
I wanna try this so bad but with VR, simply making a YouTube video doesn't do the effect justice.
Me want. Me likey. Want play.
I know they've done that but why are they famous? Kim, as far as I can tell, has no talent. At all. She took a D on camera and...then what?
Hilton also took a D on camera. Then...what? Her dad is rich and...uh...hmm. South Park is pretty accurate about her being a stupid, spoiled whore.
They're not the first people to have sex on camera. They're not the most beautiful people (especially Paris) so... what is there to admire about them? Any succes...
Did she seriously point out that just because you have the option of being a gay avatar then that means this game is worth paying attention to?
Sorry, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc. Kim Kardashian did it so it's therefore more worthy of praise.
By the way, can someone tell me why she's famous? Her and Paris Hilton...I just don't get the POINT to them. They don't DO anything worth noting. "Famous for being famous" is something that nee...
I love how long-standing vocal critics have shot themselves in the foot with their idiocy.
Jack Thompson....lol, he has been effectively banned from being a lawyer. The media doesn't seem to care what he thinks anymore (us gamers sure didn't). He is an absolute definition of a bully and that is part of the reason he is banned and not taken serious anymore.
Leland Yee was caught doing some gun trafficking deal. Yes, the same video-game-hating Californi...
These articles that pop up trying to convince me how awesome something is tend to make me laugh.
This article just made me laugh.
So you're saying you would buy the "adult content" DLC?
In its current state it's not going to appeal to as many people. Madden and Fifa you could give to me for free and I still wouldn't play them. Peggle is something I've just played a couples times, it's okay. BF4 would be the only thing I'd be interested in.
So the question for a lot of us is really this: What will the full product be? I haven't seen any article that says what EA will offer in the post-beta phase so if all they offer is stuff like this...
I like what I've seen so far. It has a way to go (especially graphically) but I enjoy the concept so far. Good job.
I can see this easily shaping up to be quite good. Don't disappoint us, man! We're hoping you succeed and we get a bad-ass game!
It has a basic feeling of Hotline Miami, so more visual appeal in terms of violent (and non-violent) takedowns would be really fun to see.
My interest is piqued. Nice.
Interesting idea. I could see some pretty interesting possibilities come about but it looks early so the wait will be harder lol
I wouldn't mind if it were true. I thought they did an incredible job with RDR's undead nightmare, felt like a really different game. If they can bring that level of change to GTA5, I am all for it.
She sounds exactly like an out-of-touch old grandmother who doesn't understand these vidya games. "These games cause brain damage" is the kind of idiotic rhetoric a stupid old woman would say when the only thing she knows is what the news has told her to think.
Shut up, you bitter old hag. Get back to pretending you deliver news.
Who are the people giving disagrees for that? You want them higher?
*pulls out binoculars* I SEE YOU, BOBBY KOTICK! YOU GET OUT OF HERE!
Seriously, brutal doom almost makes the original doom a whole new game, it's that good. SO glad it exists. If you haven't tried it, GET IT, you will love it!
You guys are punny
I guess he is a massive douche and major piece of s**t, also described as an "as**ole" so this theory is plausible.
"Capron added in his e-mail that Kotick’s public image was “very strong.”"
lol, what?
You just described the point of demos in the first place: to entice you to get the full product. You paying attention, EA, Ubisoft, Activision, etc.? You remember those? I miss them, too. It led to purchases. This no-demo, pre-order-pushing style of business has led to fewer games purchased at launch. Just saying.
