You sound sarcastic.
OK, what's going on here?
We get one positive news about December being the Wii U's most successful month and now we suddenly get tons of articles that continue slamming the console and Nintendo even further. Seems like naysayers were so offended by the company's successful holiday that they want to censor it as much as possible. Truly pathetic.
You're on the wrong article, pal.
Sometimes, I wish I could live in the Zelda world. Reality is boring :(
Rosalina's been appearing in a lot of places lately. Maybe it's a sign for something?
Joel is like "Meh, I got this. My machete will do just fine..."
Seriously, whats with the recent surge of these negative Nintendo articles?
Quite frankly, I think Nintendo lucked out. Suppose they had decided to showcase a bunch of upcoming games, they would likely be ignored since everyone is too busy expressing how much they hated VGX. Like you said, the VGX had a small audience; therefore, Nintendo would've wasted their big announcements and have nothing new to show in their next Direct or E3 with way more viewers.

Retro, themselves, felt they have "more ideas" for the DK franchise.
Retro Studios chose to continue Donkey Kong because they WANT to. If they were "forced" to make other games like Metroid, chances are the games won't be very good because the team won't be motivated.
Sure everyone is disappointed with Nintendo's presence at the VGX. However, based on the overall negative reception that VGX got, I'd say Nintendo did the right thing to save their big announcements for a Nintendo Direct or next E3 instead. Better to reveal new games for larger events than small ones; I read that VGX only had a tiny audience of 40,000 viewers while a live Nintendo Direct gets watched by millions (don't know if this is true though).
Writer is contradicting himself. He said lack of games is the Wii U's problem, not power. Yet, he basically said that "Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze" is unimpressive compared to Infamous: Second Son and Titanfall. Also, he brought up three upcoming Wii U titles (while only listing one title for both XB1 and PS4) and said Smash Bros, Bayonetta, and Mario Kart "are unlikely to secure any kind of knock-out punch". Not to mention, he failed to bring up more of the Wii U'...
I feel bad for the daughter.
I laughed a little when the report stated Pachter's absence as being "unfortunate".
I find it sad how Shuhei Yoshida admitted that he wants Nintendo to succeed (for Sony's benefit), yet everyone else wants Nintendo to fail.

Come on, you didn't expect the Wii Fit trainer either. Anyway, he said it's up to Sakurai if he wants Reggie in the game.
I read that Reggie is teasing about a surprise announcement. Maybe, he's confirmed for Smash Bros.? Just a crazy thought.
November is going to be crazy, as always.
Why attach a video that has nothing to do with the title? Anyway, I listened to the actual voice chat, and I have one thing to say about charging online:
NO.
Nintendo proved critics wrong numerous times. I'm looking at 2014 as the Wii U's redemption year with its very promising lineup.
