I don't get why Barnes even bothers complaining that Tropical Freeze feels "old". As long as a game is fun, that's all that matters. The glowing reviews that Donkey Kong is getting shows that many enjoyed it.

I can imagine them using a Smash Bros. Theme for such a game. The toys would act as "trophies" that come to life when placed on the gamepad.

I love it when there are developers who actually care to make sure their game gets the same core experience on all platforms. Looking forward to getting this game on the Wii U.
Today was practically a field day for Nintendo haters ever since the company lowered the Wii/3DS sales forecast. They want the WHOLE internet to know about Nintendo's current situation. Pathetic, isn't it?

Retro deserves way more credit then this.
They are one of those studios who use "creativity" as the main driving force towards making their games, NOT just pretty graphics. Tropical Freeze had tons of imaginative and intense level designs, and it makes me excited to see whatever crazy ideas they can come up with in their next games.
