And to clarify, this is only in NA. The figures for the rest of the world are probably unbelievable in favor of PS4. Sorry XBoners. It's looking like your precious console has once again lost it's only strong market.
Beauty of it all is that when Titanfall comes to PS4, PS4 users will get to enjoy both. The whole this multiplat is better than your exclusive kindof becomes irrelevant at that point, don't you think?
Why spend $500 on a console for just one game, when you can have a little bit of patience and enjoy multiple great titles in that time for a console that is not only cheaper, but is more powerful and has longevity when it comes to AAA exclusive games.
@Thrust You mention Titanfall 2; just remember if this comes out on PS4 before that releases, then it'll probably be available for PS4 same day as XBone. Just like how ME2 was delayed on PS3, but ME3 released on time.
If it gets good reviews, I'll definitely get the PS4 version.
@greenpowerz Sounds an awful lot like you don't XBone's only good exclusive to come to PS4.
After the critical failure (compared to previous Halo titles) that 343 had with Halo 4, I doubt will even make the list. Probably those 2 titles with whatever ND is cooking up next will be the main contenders.
Sony has already confirmed they are going to do it with games like War Thunder, Planetside 2, and DCUO. M$ is the one with the closed in policies that prevent such things through XBL
It'll probably be split between PC and PS4, but sadly with XBL being such a closed in service, it's very unlikely we'll see such a thing on XBone.
@shadyiswin You seem to to forget that retailers have constantly that M$ isn't shipping very many units to them, at least no where near as many PS4s. It's why so many retailers have had to halt XBone preorders, while still having preorders open for PS4, despite PS4 still being far ahead. You notice Sony has actually given us a general idea of how PS4 is doing in that regard, while M$ is trying really hard to market their console. Obviously M$ isn't super confident if they're s...
Nintendo will never flat out fail. At worst (and I still feel this should occur), Nintendo will no longer make home consoles. The Wii was a lucky gimmick success, but beyond, Nintendo has never really had a truly successful home console. They dominate the handheld market and that's where their strongpoint is. They will continue to do so until there is no demographic for it. Honestly, they should just dump home consoles all together and focus all their resources into handhelds. It'll b...
The game did get delayed earlier this year, so it's entirely possible ND just edited this in.
Holy shit... The game looks this amazing, running at 60 FPS, and on an old dev kit no less. It's almost unbelievable to think what PS4 games will look like down the road.
Definitely looks better than what's on XBone lol
DAAAAAAAAAAYYYUUUUUUUUUM! Where are the framerate whores at now. XD
God of War 3 did it already.
@Killuminati Fun fact. PS4 does cloud computing as well, and with Gakai, it's far superior to XBone cloud. Suck on that D.
Don't forget the huMA lol
Honestly, I'm a tad bit confused. Obviously you gain XP, as everytime the player got a kill, an XP indicator would pop up. I think the challenges are just like any other online FPS that features them. Just something to do on the side. I mean there's gotta be some sort of Ranking up system, even if all weapons are unlocked from the get go. It's almost a necessity these days. TLoU didn't use it because it had the week/ clan system going. Will Shadow Fall be trying some new? I tr...
I guess the 1 Million + PS4 preorders and counting are any good sign? I don't recall the Wii-U even coming close to that by launch. PS4 and XBone will get more games as time goes on, but they damn sure both have a much much stronger launch lineup than the Wii-U. I don't know about you, but Infamous: SS and The Order 1886 look compelling as fuck. That, and the PS4 & XBone have a much better third party lineup, getting the superior HD versions of many games that aren't even comi...
John Carmack is a dinosaur now. His job is no longer to actually develop a product that sets a new standard and blows all else away. He just talks based on whose flashing some of that mulah his way. Remember how much he flip flopped between PS3 and 360 before Rage's release? Then the game completely sucked. Sorry, but John Carmack isn't the only person who has a say so in these hardware comparisons, and it seems like the majority of third party and indie devs have said the same exact ...
They're getting completely screwed, by the company they'll seemingly support to the end no less, and they don't even realize. I guess ignorance truly is bliss...
I actually have to give him some credit for this list. He demonstrated a huge amount of humilty and honesty, and didn't list a single project that he made or was associated with. I like it when developers do that. Shows they have an open mind.
