but games like uncharted used pre-rendered cutscenes (using in game assets) so that the next level or scene could be loaded in the background.

I'm not dissing the game here as it and motorstorm 2 are my two most anticipated titles, but you didn't really answer my question.
I'd have liked to have seen the proof of your claim and then I could get excited about it selling really well and being widely hyped and popular (Not saying it won't be anyways), but I guess it's just wishful speculation on your part.

I'm not saying you're a liar, but the game is still a way out and 2 million is a pretty big number.
if they had some sort of online registration thing or something that allowed you to put an official game in the drive, go to the psn store and have it verified, and then pay a fee and have it copied to the HD.
I know what you mean though. Fortunately sublime racing and superb visuals make up for it.
Edit - Yeah, that hood cam is intense. I can race better with the chase cam, but the hood cam really gets you into the action.
But they commented that it didn't actually save any power and was designed to raise awareness instead.
