I agree with you on that. I disagree, however, that it is not a high end electronic device? How is it not?
- It has an advanced optical drive
- a cutting edge processor
- wireless connectivity
- full hdmi and 7.1 audio out
----------------- gigabit internet connectivity
----------------- a harddrive
----------------- and connectivity for virtually all types of memory cards and external storage.
So, uh, where is it that it fall...
How do you know what the framerate is like?
Why the hell would you bash something for being better? I mean, it's not confined to 7.1, it can 5.1, stereo, even mono, but the option is there.
So the animations will be second to none --completely dynamic. I also think that it will use the Euphoria engine Or DMM (digital molecular matter) for the physics and material properties.
they haven't announced it but I think its coming. Take for example in one of the videos they showed for GTA4 earlier, where Niko kicks open a door and the door frame breaks apart at the lock. That's what's going to make this game cool.
Edit - I went to gamespot and looked at the screens from long ago. These are the same, everything in them is the same, but there are a couple ones here that aren't on gamespot. Still looks HOT!!! Shooting things in this game is going to be fun.

I just took these all from the KZ2 trailer and the demo's the gave. Gametrailers has a bunch of footage the some people may not have seen if they are interested.
Killzone 2! Sorry, off topic I know. Give me sh1t about it if you really care about Hellboy, I guess I might deserve it. But if you liked the screens posted about KZ2 earlier than you'll like these.
