$199 is my sweet spot to buying a handheld gaming device.
Also whenever I buy games for platforms like that I put them in the $10-$20 price range.
My iPhone serves me well at mentioning just what I said above.
I won't be buying either the 3DS/PSP2 until they reach the $199 price point which probably won't happen until next year probably later in the year like X-Mas time or something.

COD3/COD: WAW/COD: BO/MW2 = Epic Fail.
(Most of these titles were just rushed or the online wasn't balanced.)

Talking to people online is easy.
Meeting people and talking to people in real life is a different story.
Not a problem to me I do both.
Hell a lot of times the people I talk to online I know in real life.
In the end it all comes down to the parents.
I go consider myself a hardcore gamer.
Own a lot of games and gaming hardware but I don't let control my life.
Handle your business first then when you have free time then you can game.
That's what I do and it's working for me.
Price could be a factor same situation as the 3DS.
Honestly I don't think it'll make a difference.
People buy expensive shit all the time.
Just look at when the first HDTV came out or the latest iPod or iPhone.
See what I mean people will buy something if it offers value and has stuff that the consumer wants to experience.
If anything I think PSP2 is the closest thing right now to experiencing console...

I'm interested in both the 3DS/PSP2(NGP) but I'm gonna wait for some significant price drops before I consider purchasing any of these devices.
Right now I'm happy using my iPhone as my main handheld gaming device.
I always thought of handheld games as bit size, simplistic, and something to play when your bored.
For sure I'll purchase 3DS/PSP2 once they hit the $199 mark and the game line ups start to improve.
What a bunch of haters.
Just because these developers don't take their time making great games and actually try to make a quality game they go out and bash a development team like Poly Digital who has a reputation in the industry and he sold one of the best racing games series of all time.

That would of been so awesome if Apple/Sony teamed up to make the next iPhone Playstation Portable like device.
Like you had a sleek design of the PSP Go only with 2 analog sticks, built in SD Card, HDMI/Component Compatibility, new graphics engine, UMD Support, Playstation Network Support, App Store (Apple), etc.
