I feel Sony has a lot more variety even though it's a lot more expensive.
-PS3 has great games coming out this Holiday Season and even next year looks greater then this year.
-It also has free online and Home comes out this Fall that's gonna be huge for Sony.
-It's a Blu-ray player and it's pretty obvious Blu-ray will replace the DVD and until the next gen consoles after that come out DD will be the future but for now until then Blu-ray is the future for these present consol...
I can imagine a few things about the new Playstation.
-1.) Most games will be Digital Downloading.
It's already prove most devs and firms are heading in that direction even Sony is following that path.
360 started the idea of putting DD into games but Sony expanded it by letting you download full games.
ex.) GT5 Prologue, SOCOM Confrontation, Warhawk, Siren, etc.
In other words w/ both the PS4 & 720 they won't have disc based games anymore only DD for ...

Watch once the exclusives for PS3 start rolling out like SOCOM this month it'll blow away the 360.

This is third game so far to show off some good graphics exclusively for that console next to Alan Wake and Gears of War.
RPGs haven't been turning out very well this gen.

This is the one game that's making me get a 360 to go along w/ my PS3 if this game is cancelled I'm just gonna skip getting a 360 and just keep playing my PS3 more.
Glad Microsoft can make a great 1st party game and actually show off what the 360 is capable of.

A lot like Warhawk in many ways with the flying and combat style but the game still looks like a must buy.

Now it's the best time to look at reviews for games and participate in game forums to get the behind the scenes look of what new games will be like and you can give devs feed back they could add to make their games better.
The only types of games I find that are worth the $60 are PS3 games cuz they use Blu-ray and the 360 doesn't they use DVDs yet they cost the same.
