yeah the handling doesn't look anywhere near as realistic as driveclub. At least in that game you can steer around corners whilst braking which obviously saves time. I think the guys who made this look like they've never driven a real car before.
I think I'll pass and get my sim racing fix from the crew
Well that just killed it
The only people to blame here are those who will gladly accept being ripped off. If everyone said no that's too expensive then they would be forced to lower their prices.
people who want a holodeck clearly haven't thought it through beyond the I want what I can't have stage
just don't buy it and watch how fast they drop the price. Simple
its shipping with oculus and morpheus support. once the headsets are released it will work straight out of the box
They don't have to do anything to try and make me forget mass effect 3, I enjoyed it immensely even if it was my least favoured of the three. The whole thing with the ending was blown way out of proportion. and it was still one of the best games of last gen
They started it in 2013 so it's possible
The youtubers are making money essentially for advertising games for these big companies it's a perfect symbiant circle where everyone wins. The consumer the youtubers and the big corporate companies all gain from this relationship.
Once the big companies want it all then there is nothing to be had for anyone and everyone loses out.
You can argue about which one looks better and driveclub will probably win but when I'm racing I want to feel weight shift I want to feel like there's two ton of metal trying to come to a stop when I hit the brakes and I'm afraid driveclub completely fails in this department. The raindrops etc are lovely but it's all just so meh in terms of the gameplay.
Each to their own I suppose but for me driveclub falls between those two stools of pure over the top arcad...
It's fixed now for sure but as a racing game it's just not that satisfying. The graphics keep you hooked for an afternoon but after that it's all rather shallow
I love these articles where it's like none of these journalists have ever seen the dawn of a new console era before.
It's the same with them moaning about shovelware when anyone who's played games for more than ten years know it takes 2-3 years of a new console before the quality games start to come out
It's year 1. All new generations underwhelm in year 1. In 8 years time when PS5 and Xbox Two come out they will be underwhelming and the PS4 etc will have been the best consoles ever.
Yeah agreed. Everyone seems to be praising driveclub for its graphics but I was bored of the driving model in next to no time as there was zero challenge to it.
The article says wasted potential and then goes onto describe games currently available which are using the controller in the way the author suggests. Consider me baffled??
I think they will launch this with no mans sky VR edition for $250. Just a gut feeling
I dont get driveclub. it generally looks the part and the cars look great but you dont get to experience the thrill of driving one of these cars because the handling model is ultimately shallow and boring and completely unrealistic, arcade racer or not.
Plus i think the graphics on Project Cars look more realistic anyway, more realistic, gritty and true to life as opposed to overblown sun sets and the like with driveclub.
The first game barely broke even on four consoles, I'd say it's pretty certain this will be coming out for the PS4
Project cars plays like shit. If I want a nice view I will look out of the window.
VR will become its own thing separate from traditional games. It will become its own platform
