Little disappointed this week.
The single player Driver demo turned me off for that game, and there was only 1 Game Video I was interested in. AC: Revelations, but that turned out to be a walkthrough of the same level I've seen a half dozen times already.
My list would be...
1.More Claptrap
/end list
I'm definitely not a fan of the new "shift" gimmick
And what were they thinking putting the boost on the left stick!? I found myself constantly boosting when I didn't want to, especially around turns...which always resulted in me smashing into something and spinning out.
As much as I may have wanted to, I don't think I'll be buying this game.
Didn't really follow it at all, but saw the PS3 demo was up yesterday and got excited to play it.
All in all...it kinda sucked, especially that whole "shift" mechanic, it seems like this game won't be going that far.
And I know on PC this one gripe wouldn't be there, but on consoles pressing up on the joystick for boost?! What were they thinking? I was constantly boosting around turns when I didn't want to and smashing into everything!
I always avoid the gutted copies at any cost. If that means going to the three or four other stores around me, so be it. If that means making them order a copy and having to wait a few extra days, then it's worth it to me.
I'd rather open a brand new game, than pay the brand new price when the clerks have already opened it (and more often than not, have taken it home to try out and bring back)
I can't tell you how many times I've been handed a gutted copy, flip...
Absolutely loved the first one, and played through all the DLC.
Borderlands2 needs more Claptrap! I couldn't get enough of his humor!
Just what I was thinking, especially considering Bane runs an "extreme fighting ring" (read: cage fights) and in the new game Robin is apparently a cage fighter.
Catwoman is awesome, what are you talking about?
Plus, she won't playable for the entirety of the game, only small segments and shes got all the moves Bats does only more cat-like instead of bat-like.
Plunder = Capture the Flag* (read - treasure)
Lots of fun, kills don't count for anything other than earning medals, first team to 5 captures wins.
Hunter Co-Op - Imagine the previous Co-Op arena, but all Gold Rush, and instead of all AI opponents there are AI mixed with 2 real players. After a time limit you switch sides, medals earned while playing with the bad guys can be used to upgrade gear (weapons, armor, grenades)
You'll get access to the Yemen map on the 10th
From what I've heard from people who got into the beta, it's just a short section of the game and by no means should ruin the experience of the full game.
As far as I know there's only 1 puzzle in the beta, the full version has plenty more than that.
There isn't any damage from falls? Unless of course you fall off a cliff..
But I do like the idea of that flying tackle thing, say your on a roof, see someone below you then jump off onto their back and snap their neck.
I loved that feature! Sucks that they took it out, because I liked to hold on to my boosters until I needed them, now that they don't stack I'm losing out on all the medals I earn while waiting for the right time to use my kickback.
My favorite was stacking up 4 or 5 Clusterbombs and carpet bombing the shit out of an area lol
Has anyone else had any difficulties downloading this episode? I've been trying since last night, but each time I hit "Download" it takes me to a blank page :(
I really wanted to check out Journey!
@Nate-Drake
I do the same thing, I don't go out of my way to whore trophies/acheivements but if it's a game I like I'll play the hell out of it and get as many as I can.
Fallout 3 was the 1 frustration I've had. Finished it, with no glitches happening...the next day they patched trophies in..I beat it again 2 times over and halfway through another game and each time I had a trophy glitch, it wouldn't award one for the main quests. It's the last trophy...
I agree 100%, more fighting games need more stages. I do miss the old days where everyone had their own.
Back on topic though, those screens look awesome, this game can't come soon enough! Is it just me or did one of those stages look like the spike pit that's under the bridge stage? Will we be fighting in the pit?
Cole from inFamous could definitely survive MK. Give him that nifty new weapon from inFamous2 a few electric powers (bolt, grenade, shockwave) and for a fatality let him call down a massive lightning bolt that fries your opponent until he explodes!
Make this happen in DLC, I'd love to Kratos v. Cole
My favorite aspect of the Kinect is probably the sense of immersion you get with it. It's simply unlike anything else. Not to mention loads of fun with a friend.
Hope I win it, my buddy got one and has been rubbing it in my face that I don't have an Xbox and you have no idea how badly I wanna rub it in his face if I win lol
What was up with the QTE's during Kratos' gameplay?
East coast calls it soda
