Generally I like the beta, but I have a couple problems with it.
Tutorials were awful in my opinion.
The Deathmatch mode, where there's no compass, is terrible. I don't mind it being a small map at all, but it populates it with characters nobody picked. So like the author said, it's just a matter of looking into the crowd and going "There they are!" It involves no skill at all.
I loved the climbing in Revelations though, much better than...
@GetOwned - I use Norton 360 too. I worked at an electronics store for a few years as a computer tech, and Norton would come in once a year to show off their new antivirus and give all of us free copies :)
I make it a point to keep in touch with a few friends from there, and they make it a point to grab one of the download codes for me when Norton comes

I checked out the demo on PS3 for this today. I liked the game overall, but the "tutorial" that shows you how to play sucks.
It's just two dudes in the ring with infinite time and infinite health. The game teaches you how to play by waiting until the other guy does something, then telling you you can counter/block it. After 15mins or so of screwing around in tutorial mode I only had gotten 14 out of the 26 or so "hints" that I thought were supposed to teach me ...
Confirmed, next COD will have even less story
While I wholeheartedly agree with Psychonauts being on this list I can't help but notice, the author said "...its release for Xbox two years ago."

I thought so too, granted I haven't played that much so I'm still sorta low leveled. But come on...half a clip into some guys back just for him to turn around and blow me away with a shotty. Kinda turned me off a little bit
I've been playing a lot of Mortal Kombat online recently, and oh boy! So much rage from other gamers on there.

Fallout 3 glitched for me...it won't unlock the "Scientific Pursuits" one..ya know, one of the trophy for story quests. Now I can't get the plat for it. Even tried deleting all my data for Fallout and nothing. Must have played through the whole game 5 or 6 times.

Exactly what I was thinking. The teaser they released a couple years ago was much better than this crap.
Plus I don't like the new character design, that whole "I just survived the apocalypse in my work clothes" kinda thing he had going before was much better.

You could use those in AA... granted you had to plan ahead a little if you wanted to use the gel (there was even a proximity detector upgrade for it), but just tap R2 for the batclaw.
Out of my 100+ library of games for this gen I can say there are only 3 games I haven't finished.
Dead Space (been meaning to, just keep getting sidetracked)
Demons Souls (lent it to a friend about halfway through because I needed a break, can't wait to finish it though)
X-Blades...got it for free at BestBuy, played 15 minutes and traded it in
Don't write it off just because you sucked at it and didn't learn from your mistakes.
Demons Souls is an awesome game, very difficult and brutally punishing but equally rewarding.
