I don't know about anyone else, but in the past few iterations of AC the combat has been overwhelmingly easy.
8 guys surrounding me, attacking one at a time and dispatched with a single counter-move? Not to mention the counter-kill stringing which easily turns one counter kill into a dozen kills in less than 10 seconds. Battlefields, church towers, bell towers, capitol buildings, not to mention plenty of forestry and the new ability to climb trees.
I think they'll do pretty well with the climbing in this one, especially in the woods.
To be fair, the assassin outfit stands out in ALL of the other AC games. They're the ONLY people in the city wearing white and the ONLY people wearing hoods. These assassins would never realistically blend with any environment especially since they walk around with swords, daggers, crossbows, occasionally giant hammers/swords/axes, and in the latest iteration, bombs visibly strapped to them.
I really hope they don't over-do it with the guns. I for one, love the big open worlds and stalking my victims then dealing with them up close and personal.
However, I did see in one of the images leaked today that our new assassin has TWO flintlock pistols, AND a rifle! That has me a little worried.
It took a lot of exploring around the site, but I managed to figure out a couple of the code words and "unlocked" some key cards...now if only I knew why I was doing this lol
Well it does take place in America...during the Revolution. And in that scenario, the British were the bad guys. Be kinda weird if they painted the gents fighting for their independence as "evil" and the ones fighting to control and extort them as "good"
