Very impressed! It looks a lot like the 2D games, but in 3D.
I don't see the issue. Imo, the graphics look on par with Forza and PGR if not better. And that's with a completely seamless free roaming world at 60fps. The damage model is also much, much more advanced as expected from a Burnout title.
I laughed out loud when the dad just stood there, silenced by the awesome.
Imo, the goal of the game is to have fun with your friends and be creative. That's it. And it's absolutely brilliant.
You can of course just play objective based levels made by other players. There will be hundreds of them.
Actually it's 360/PC only because Microsoft is funding the game.
This article is from 2006...
We've already seen lots of HD gameplay footage, there isn't any screen tearing and the framerate is locked at 30fps.
Well, she has gotten multiple things correct.
Huh. Well, very nice of them to admit it. :) The game will probably look like that when it's finished anyways.
Nice. We'll probably get a trailer at E3, just like Killzone 2.
This is coming from the guy who praises Lair... :| Seriously, I understand bashing Killer 7 but saying Okami was a terrible game is just BS.
60fps and no load times. This game is a beast in every way.
I wonder though why they keep showing us screens of normal, unharmed cars. Burnout is about the crashes! Show us some bent metal.
My biggest beef with the 360 would have to be the Wi-Fi. I need it if I wanted to play online, but there's no way I'm paying 70-80€ for something I get for free on a bloody DS.
It's called having an art style. Gears and MGS4 also do this. There is nothing wrong with it, imo. Unless the entire game looks like that.
Goddamn, why do these get approved? We've seen all of these screens months ago.
Very interesting.
They are old, but not that old... They're all gameplay images from this year. Lol, this site is going to explode when new KZ2 screens are actually released.
I think the devs just said in an interview with CVG that it will be equal on both platforms.
Man, screw IO interactive. They got this guy fired for giving his honest opinion. I never thought about buying Kane & Lynch, but now it seems I'll have to pass on all IO's future projects. F*ck them.
2008: Year of the Free Roamer, hands down.
GTAIV, Burnout Paradise, Prototype, Infamous, Saints Row 2, Borderlands, Mercenaries 2 etc...
