I have my doubts on continuing with the current Kratos cannon as GOW3 pretty much wrapped that up and Ascension was the prequel. I think a nice reboot would be in order. Maybe a game of similiar style but with a new protaganist and story.
If the team this article is referring to is the one headed up by Cory Barlog, I highly doubt it would be in any state to release this holiday as Mr. Barlog just returned to Santa Monica about a year and a half ago...not enough time to make a game of that magnitude.
It's very possible that part of the deal of buying Gears from EPIC was for them to remaster the games into a collection package. Makes sense as EPIC hasn't released a game in a long time. Would be interesting and best case scenario to have the same company that developed the game perform the remaster.
So, who knows the collection maybe close to being done and ready for this holiday. With the issues 343 has had recently maybe Halo 5 will get more time to cook and...
Big fan of Souls games and super excited for this one, but one thing I have noticed is they are still having problems with that wonky camera. It still freaks out when the action pans in close to your character and clips thru and it trys to self correct. It was like this in the other souls games, just hope reviewers don't start picking on that just to have something to pick on.
Yes like everyone the wait is killing me and all other games go on hold when this launches. ...
Is it me or does Gabe look like Santa Claus with the white beard? Not trying to be offensive its just the first thing I think of when I see pictures of him with the beard.
I am sure Sony will have some games up their sleeves. For example noone was expecting LBP 3 last year when it was announced at E3 and released in the holiday season.
My guess is an Uncharted collection remastered by a third party supervised by ND will be announced at E3 and be released this holiday and another unknown game will be announced and launched like LBP 3 did last year.
Journalists and fanboys get all doom and gloom these days. There is room fo...
Phil has had an uphill battle after Don Mattrick almost ruined the xbox brand. Glad to see them doing better. Market competition is good for this industry. Have x1 and Ps4 and look forward to all the great exclusives.
ND and Sony may have made a smart move because if Fallout 4 gets announced at E3 and releases this holiday it will be a beast and who wants to go up against that.
You think the lead on the mp for UC3 who is in charge of mp on UC4 has learned a lesson? IF anything seems a good bet UC4 will be more like UC3 with the same fella at the helm.
He is not the lead so he doesn't have the final say and I believe most fans of ND games would agree that TLOU mp was better than any of the UC mp games. So its a disappointment.
For me its disappointing as I was hoping the lead on the MP design for TLOU was lead on UC4 mp oh well. Should be good but not what I was hoping for.
Sounds about right. I remember when the God of War collection was announced noone knew about it because it was outsourced I believe to Blue Point Studios. We don't know if a third party has been remastering the Uncharted games into a collection and if they have this delay would be a good time to announce at E3 and gain even more attention for UC4s release next year.
I wonder what Ken Lobb is doing then because I thought this was the job he had overseeing studios like Rare? Haven't heard he has left or anything.
I enjoy Rememdy games but dang they take forever to make something. As long as last gen was they only released one full retail game (Alan Wake) and a Digital download (AW:American Nightmare). I am surprised they can even stay in business and pay expenses with such litle product to offer. That said Alan Wake was awesome played them multiple times and really looking forward to QB my only complaint as they just take forever getting anything completed.
As a Halo fan for nearly 14 years now I would say I have little faith in 343 to deliver with Halo 5. They haven't shown they can to date. Halo 4 was the worst out the main Master Chief storyline and their recent Masterchief Collection was a disaster at launch and still has problems four months later. Fool me once, fool me twice, but three times? Maybe for some but I'll just wait and see what happens and build no expectations on this installment.
I really enjoyed LOTF. I will have to check this out.
I don't understand the arguement that matchmaking on Raids won't work but performing a manual matchmaking on DestinyLFG does. I am sorry but wether its random players from a site or random thru matchmaking its still random. The player that posts a message for a raid on a site is somehow supposed to be more serious then a gamer that presses that button to find a match? Sorry, I see no difference your either are serious about getting a group together or not, doesn't matter how it...
Agreed. I have both consoles. When all else is equal it matters to me as I want the one that looks and runs the best. When given the choice I think most anyone would want the best version within their means to play.
This game was a one trick pony, if that is all your going to offer an incomplete game not fleshed out then don't nickel and dime consumers on top of the already shallow product with little content.
This will be viewed as a case of do not do in the future.
It would be nice but you know there would so many whiners that there already has been a remaster collection on PS3.
However, I could see far less complaining about GOW 3 and Ascension being remastered for PS4 and those games looked great and there probably are 1080p assets available to make that happen because I believe they developed those games with the highest resolution then scaled them down to fit the PS3. A GOW3/Ascension would be a nice package for $30 - 40 this hol...
