well according to digital foundry when the game is still, its indistinguishable from 4k and when the game is moving you can tell the difference but only under certain effects like the sparks in the new tomb raider have some ghosting, checkerboard rendering is so close to 4k its not even a issue but obviously native will always be better because who wants ghosting around sparks

the difference between ultra and high textures are usually very small, the ps4 can handle medium and high textures for most games which still looks amazing, the ps4-pro has better compression technology so high textures will be the norm and high textures in 4k look amazing four times the quality of 1080p, texture quality is really not a big issue
driveclub uses 12k textures on its cars on the ps4 that's 3x higher then 4k
