Take that with a grain of salt. They will not compromise current console sales by saying "yea we'll release it eventually on next gen systems".
Its about getting the most out of the current gen systems (that have the massive install base) and then maybe 6 months to a year later release the next gen systems version and get more there again (admittedly I would rebuy it for next gen if it had enough improvements).
@hollabox your numbers come from VGCHARTZ which is completely unreliable. Plus as Dude420 said digital sales are not included and digital sales account for most of the PC games sales.
You don't know how torrents and bittorrent sites work do you?
People over exaggerate the PC piracy because that's all they focus on, the sales are quite good for many games and even if the piracy rates are high it doesn't detract from that.
I am sure if (or rather when as it will come out) GTA V for PC is released it will surpass 3 million sales within a month. I for one will buy it and I am getting the PS3 version as well (damn international...
Does anyone take Gamespot reviews seriously anymore?
I'm getting it day 1, I mean I loved Heavy Rain so that made this a no brainer.
@neocores
Except there is no evidence of this and I'm sure I saw somewhere that David Cage said it was just a tech demo showing off the engine on PS4.
I for one would love it to be a full game but not expecting it.
Not a real game, just a tech demo like how the Kara demo was just showing off the tech and not actually a game.
you do realise most of the comments are sarcasm or a joke right?
I don't think they can input more than 9.8 on GameTrailers. The site might explode if they do.
sorry accidentally downvoted you when I wanted to agree. lol.
You know just because a game scores high by many sites doesn't mean its over-hyped, it might actually be its really good. Considering you and I don't have the game yet (at least I assume you don't) we are in no position to agree or disagree with either Escapist or the Dozen other gaming site that reviewed this game.
Personally (and I estimate about 6 million other people) won't care what the reviews say as we will have the game to play tomorrow or at least w...
score seems a bit low :)
They better bring Yakuza 5 and this over...must have more Yakuza.
This is not a viable comparison. Give proper video and we'll talk. I don't really care but I think the OLED will look a little better but only if you compare it directly to the LCD one. No wrong choice here.
Geez, why are people so riled up like this. It isn't like its a year later, its a frigging week, do you really think in the long run that's going to make a difference. Remember this is about years of sales not first day sales.
I don't thin OLED burn-in is that big a thing or was in any way a deciding factor in the changing of the screen. I mean as long as you don't leave your screen on for hours on the same image you should be fine. In fact I haven't heard of many instances of it happening.
For people who never had or used a vita it should be fine, but for those of us who are accustomed to the OLED it might be a bit jarring.
Isn't the point of gaming enjoyment and entertainment? If playing on easy gives you more satisfaction than playing on other difficulty levels then no, it doesn't defeat the purpose.
I for one never play a game below Hard level as long as they let me. I have played every game for the last 18 years like that and I don't see the need to change.
Persona 4 Golden will eat your soul. Best game I've played on the Vita easily.
VGCHARTZ pull their numbers out of thin air, I have never trusted them and no one should. They report certain sales numbers and when official numbers are released they hardly ever match. Check up the accuracy of their numbers and you will see for yourself.
Also you were the first to state that GTA IV on PC sold less than a million. I estimated it would sell a certain amount but never stated it as a fact (even though I said "I'm sure", its my opinion not a real...
