sad thing is I would actually like the 3g but can't get it in my country so its even worse for me.
can only get the free game after redeeming the AT&T data plan thing, so that means its all useless to me and anyone else not anywhere in AT&Ts coverage :( Well was gonna get the Wifi anyways (got it preordered) so I guess I'll stick with that.
didn't read the entire thing, skimmed through it, but I agree somewhat. I beat the game and pretty much every major storyline(companions, mage, thieves, dark brotherhood, I found 15 daedra quest, civil war etc.) as well as countless side quests and errands, at its peak I had about 50-60 active quests and now I have 11 of which 6 are the randomly generated/repeating ones and the other 5 extremely minor.

I think its amazing value for 20 bucks more but that is not an unboxing, it doesn't exactly give us a proper look at the items...still I like that they didn't shortchange this dark edition.

except for the people who don't have access to the internet who get screwed and robbed when they buy the game full priced, and I know people from first world countries think that its unthinkable that people would not have internet and yet have a PS3 or X360 and HDtv but its not that farfetched for some of us.
Not me personally but I know quite a number of avid gamers who don't have internet on their systems and they are getting short-changed and shaf...
this is bullshit, a SP game should never need an online pass, what if I don't have internet connection on my console and I know a lot of people in my country without internet that play games on PS3 and X360, it means that they miss a piece of the game (especially if House of Valor is one of the 7 factions in the game that they mentioned) just because they can't redeem a damn code for a SINGLE PLAYER game....ugh...

They said when it was first announced that the team was only able to port it to one system at a time due to their size as well as wanting to put forward the best they could. It just so happens that the X360 hardware was the closest to PC so it became the logical choice.
Usually when devs make these kind of excuses for leaving out a system I call bullshit, but these guys are some of the best and very loyal to their fans so I believe them. They also never ruled out a PS3 versi...
I was expecting a bullshit list but these are some good points. Kudos to the writer on a well put argument.
Only problem is the first counter to people problem with MS points, left over points are a bad thing no matter how you try and spin it. What they need to do is sell the points in more practical amounts, not where it will leave a small remainder, just because you may use those extras eventually doesn't mean everyone will or excuses MS for forcing us to buy more than...

they kept the metal gear name meaning they are leeching off the famous name. Nobody would've given a damn if it was called Raiden Rising:Revengeance which is a much more suitable name. So non-canon or spin-off does not give them a free pass on the nonsense the game is looking like.

well all it misses is actual competitive racing, it has ghosts, time trial, mods, karts, tracks etc. It does have ad-hoc 4 player racing but still.. I agree its a bit bad but I never really needed the online racing or would use it much anyways so I'm ok with that.
I don't agree with him at all, he says its "rehashed" and for pick up play they choose to do it like this but people want to pick up and race against others online just as quickly as we would a ghost or hot lap etc. Its a bad excuse for not putting something people clearly expected but its not a deal breaker for me and its certainly not as bad as people are calling it, no buy because of that really?
except of course you ignore the entire concept of Unit 13 and how its set up for gameplay, as well as the co-op function of the game as well. It has online just not like your traditional shooter. Same with Modnation, it has everything for online just no competitive racing. I don't like it either but its getting blown way out of proportion.
don't really have to imagine, nearly every Mario Kart game has had no online, so I don't really see how its a good comparison.
