not for me, I find it much better with Mouse and Keyboard. I do agree that some games play better with controller but GTA wasn't one of them. Perfect aim was a godsend and its extremely easy to get accustomed, and most times for me, preferred.
ME2 was much better for me on PC with Mouse and Keyboard and even though it was far from bad on consoles I missed perfect accuracy aiming for my sniper.
why would you want it anyways, I loved the PC interface and controls for ME2. But still I understand that at least having the option should be there.
I agree sikbeta, so why don't you get ahead of the curve and move to those platforms and leave the dedicated gaming devices to the rest of us. In fact go now and never bother with a soon to be obsolete N4G.com again.
I know with your one bubble you can't respond so I'll make this simple; labeling me as you have above just makes you look like the stereotypical fanboy who just can't cohesively and intelligently contradict my comments without playing some kind of fanboy card.
If you want some lessons check the comment below from M_Prime. At least he opposes what I say in an intelligent and cohesive argument, not just some fanboy drivel with no explanation or backing for your &quo...
Actually I've used kinect extensively and I love it for certain things(some of which you mentioned) but I don't think it will be that important for ME3.
The whole thing about shouting commands is a nice idea but I usually have to speak proper english for the Xbox to pick up my commands when on the dash and in the middle of battle I can't really concentrate on pronunciation when I'm pinned in a firefight.
I'm not american and my "accen...
I'm still not impressed, its a gimmick feature that I will never use more than once, and it probably won't pick up half of what I'm saying anyways. Out of curiosity if anyone knows, how much it relies on kinect and how much on just the mic? I mean from the features it seems more like any mic would work, rather than kinect centric. Legit question not trying to troll as I don't know much about how that stuff works.
dumb list, most of the games were either rated very well or sold very well...or both.
You are right, comparisons (especially graphically) doesn't have a place in a review, still, with an Uncharted title you expect something, using the name means that you have to meet the standards, even if its on a different platform certain things have to work right. The lack of giant set pieces and epic scenes might be a limitation of the hardware but it doesn't mean we shouldn't expect it from an Uncharted game.
I'm still getting it for sure but some concess...
@FriedGoat
yea but as they said in the review, when you watch UC3 for near the same price as Golden Abyss you tend to pause for a minute and consider. I think the ceiling for Handheld games should be 40 bucks, lower would be better but I'm not deluding myself into thinking devs will do that very often.
Look at the Vita launch titles, there are quite a few $30-40 titles and thats great, but then you have UC golden abyss standing at 50 bucks and its easy to...
@NukaCola
I like how you ignored the first part of that quote
"...but for something that Sony has tried to compare to the PlayStation 3 on a technical level, it doesn't take long to see that this ain't no PlayStation 3 game."
Its a relevant point and the reviewer is right to say that it lacks something that the Uncharted series is known for if it doesn't have the blockbuster epic events that UC2 and 3 are known for.
its only a few days early, we all get it on the 14th.
I really like the pick up and play attitude they took with the game. Combine that with chasing high scores and leveling up is a great thing. Plus from the couple demos I saw it looks solid in the gameplay department. Not sold on a day 1 purchase but maybe down the line.
yea, conviction was a letdown, it was fun but mindless, after about half hour of taking my time to sneak I realised it was soo much easier to just run in and kill everyone. Short as well.
got 15 plats and only the GOW one, that took about an hour and a guide to get lol.
got the GOW one and will probably get the MGS and Batman AC ones (when I pick up either game) but to hell with the rest, that crap will kill you faster.
Except this is all conjecture on your part, not to mention what is offered by PS+ and what is offered by XBL gold are fundamentally different and not really comparable.
Also if anyone ever thought that either Sony or MS were in it for anything other than money, then they're more naive that ever.
The whole of PS+ is not necessary or mandatory for users and it was definitely smart for them to set it up for us to keep coming back if we wanted to keep the ma...
really good game but not favorite of the generation, it had too many nagging flaws that kept me from giving it that honor. Its in the top 5 though.
Problem was the main story took a back seat and barely had any screen time. Plus for those of us who spent quite a few hours talking to our crew and team in ME1, learning about them, romancing them, making hard choices, were let down by the big reset button they pushed for ME2. Not to mention the conversations were so limited with only 3 or 4 layers for each member and not real interaction between team members on or off missions.
Then there's the big problem of the crew n...
if I took off the "nostalgia goggles" as you put it, then I would not be playing mario at all. Its simplistic and hardly ever changes for the most part but its the fact that its mario that I keep playing them.
I really liked SMRPG and from the couple other mario rpg games I played (one of the paper mario and the mario and luigi one) they were way too simplistic and limited when compared to the world and design of Mario RPG. To me they are shortchanging us and shoul...
I liked the game demo but not if its a 6 hour cutscene for full price. I want the game still as I love the over the top action but this one is definitely a "wait for price drop". I'm willing to pay 30 bucks and will wait for it to reach there.
