The HD collection is already a year and a half old. That's not really recent, plus who passes up the chance to make more money.
Wish I didn't already own all the MGS games in this collection, then I would have a legitimate excuse to buy it.
I've choosen the Vita version, its going to look gorgeous on the OLED screen and its so easy to pick up and play (no need to start up system, just resume from a suspended game)and I can relax anywhere and play it. Plus it has some touch screen additions for finding treasures(and I think it was originally intended as a vita game, though I might be wrong). Not to mention its 10 bucks cheaper.

It actually looks like something I would enjoy. I watched the Gamespot E3 Stage demo and knew this was the game for me. 3rd person rts, its part Mass Effect, Part XCOM and that's pretty cool.

Yea, people need perspective, this shows that they didn't just scrap the project, they took the time to rebuild it back up, they are doing the same thing with FFXIV, they could've scrapped it or left it to die but they took the time to recreate it in a better form and yet people still bash them for what?
Nope, I hate award shows on the whole and the idea of Video Game Awards is a joke in itself (hell all awards shows are jokes). I just looked at the reveal trailers after the fact when everyone had a copy on their websites.

In terms of features, yes lbp2 can do everything project spark has shown so far, it is a game maker and not exactly on a completely 2d plane, even fps games (simple ones) have been made with it.
Your trite remark on games going 3d clearly shows that you didn't understand what I meant. This game is like lbp2 in a 3d game world and that's pretty cool. But it's not leaps and bounds ahead of littlebigplanet so far and it's a generation ahead console wise.
Not really that big of a leap you can do pretty much anything project spark can in lbp2 except for the perspective it's very similar.
where are you getting your information on first party studios? That number seems super inflated.
Also Sony might have copied some of the things MS had but they also improved them. Trophies are much better than achievements (actual levels, ratings, trophies rather than a simple number).

For me its more the games you will eventually get to but just didn't that gets put there, so instead of buying it and putting it down for a later date now you can wait for it to show up on PS+.
Of course there will always be the titles that everyone who wanted it already bought it but usually there is something for everyone.
