I really dont think Nintendo would really care that much about taking over sega. Nintendo has a huge list of IPs already and hands them out to other companies so I doubt they would care about the ips to much. As for the company whens the last time they made a good game let alone a hit? They have realsed some decent games as of late and I for one am look forward to Sega Superstars Tennis, but I have been underwhelmed to say the least with their games.

Yeah it all seems quite stupid. You have an sd port and two usb ports so lets use them already. Core gamers dont like having to delete games and redownload them, so Im certain the more casuals dont even bother messing around with that kind of thing.

I agree with you, there are region differences in game taste. Though there are good games that are not their taste that do resonably well. I just dont feel that DW games are good. They all feel relativly the same and repetitive.
Poeple think so much about it because its been out for 3 years in Japan coming on 4(though at the end of the year). I dont think it will be its last big game seller. I do beleive this will be their biggest seller has the largest appeal. I already know more poeple who have bought it recently or will be buying it just to get this game. Though I also think mario kart and animal crossing will sell big for the wii.
Yeah I keep wondering why people act like microsoft cares? They have stated otherwise multiple times, saying that they care more about digital downloads. Anyway its not like microsoft builds computers or anything so what maybe the next xbox uses blueray? Big deal, besides microsoft could always use hd-dvd in its game system if it really didnt want to use blueray. Though then Im sure people would complain that it doesnt play blueray.

Yes it will, though I was sad going into work today. The second time I looked at a calender and thought hey I could have been playing this game today. Made worse by the fact that I had a count down on one of my work calenders for the release date.

I would have agreed with you, but I really dont see how blueray was the best addition to gaming this gen. What does it allow to be done? Not have to compress data? Which is offset because they cant compress it because it would take to long to read. If you like it because you only want one disc compaired to multiple discs I could understand. Though dvds kinda offset the need for multi disc games. Not all yes, but the vast majority of games are not multi disc this gen or last.

You do have to spend a dime. Theres a processing fee whether you want to DL or get a retail copy of the game. I checked it out because you know its free but the $4.99 fee to process it made it not worth my time. Not that it would have been, but free Id dl just to make fun of it or give it to someone as a gift.
There is a new Contra game its called Contra 4 and its on DS. Nintendo has nothing to do with the Contra series since Konami owns the game.
