Looks good excited for the game. Had great dungeons but it was a huge game. Just not sure how many improvements they could make. Windwaker HD was so good in part because the improvements eliminated strecthed out fluff.
This is my favorite Zelda from the standpoint of Heart Piece fetch quests. Some of them were mini dungeons.
Thought Second Son was a good follow up, especially for a launch window game.
Battlefield 4 with its broken online should be on the list. I realize that it is a solid game but for how broken it was and how long it remained is absurd.
Didn't realize Fallout 4 was coming to WiiU? That or you really have no reason to be commenting here...Thanks
Part of the issue is most of us are not game designers and it takes time to lay out a course and refine it. You really need to have friends play the course. If you make it, hard to play test when you know the whole course.
That being said I like to be able to easily beat my course after its complete. If you make a course which is really hard for the designer then you might have difficulty issues.
I agree that it's hard to get into a flow because half the courses are nothing.
That being said I love the game and have uploaded 1 level. I take my time and have a few people run through my courses so I can tweak before uploading. Try to make simple path levels with hidden paths/short cuts.
Please tell me where I said closing down? Done for the generation and closing down are different. The GameCube limped to the next gen and Wii limped to the next gen.
The system is not going to start selling significantly better to the point that it would not be viewed as a failure.
Nintendo will put some great games out but they have never had the resources to adequately support the end of a system with launch of another.
It's sad but they are pretty much done for this generation. Sadly they have fielded some of their strongest 1st party titles.
I've enjoyed the system and have used it more then my Xbox one.
Mario Maker is an absolute blast which a large section of Gamers will not experience.
Those types will always have fetch quests. Less is fine, but these types of games on this scale are hard to develop a variety of missions.
Thought most of the DLC for number 2 were good. Not great but good.
Happy to see Splatoon really did have legs on it.
Intelligent Systems has always made great games. Just wish they'd make a new advance wars.
My issue with it, is I do not believe they are being transparent with why they are not including the feature.
Microsoft needs this game out, and had a horrific launch last year with MCC.
I love split screen, but understand that it isn't as big of a feature as functional online MP. This feels like a resources move to ensure quality and hit their release date.
I do have an attachment to play split screen. When family and friends come visit nice to play some co-op. When roommates around nice to have some co-op.
Hey guys know we are hanging out but everyone go drive home so we can play some halo...negative.
Halo 4 left me less then excited for 5. I figured with the split screen I'd get it at some point. Now it's a maybe for under $30 type game.
Split screen is the reason I got an original Xbox and became a fan of halo.
Halo has just been a model of a game. Split-screen co-op, system link and split screen online have been staples for years. A series that has covered all their bases and catered to none.
People put way to much faith in none gameplay trailers. CGI or engine generated do not give enough of an idea of what to expect.
I was underwhelmed by Nintendo's event, but at least the vast majority gave you an idea of the gameplay.
I still don't get how they dominated. They pulled basically the same thing they did last year. Bare with us in 2014 and wait for the exclusives next year. 2015 same story.
Last Guardian, glad it isn't dead but this has seen numerous delays in the 8 years of "development" I'll believe a 2016 release when I'm installing the game.
FF7 great to hear but again wait, just wait. Granted fans have been waiting for years and Square never dela...
Weird because they have a pretty good holiday lineup for the Wii U. Just not really much for me.
Guess they came out swinging last year and this year just didn't have it.
One thing is the amount of gamers in the lots of expendable income age has increased. When I was younger I beat every game I bought, because I only had the money to buy a few and the time to play many.
I don't have the time to do that anymore.
I agree, I play games until my enjoyment diminishes and continuing feels like a chore. Plus I never buy launch games. My undoing is sales and Best buy gamers club. The under $30 price point always snags me.
You have your points, but I don't think Nintendo is anymore guilty then the rest of the industry.
Splatoon lacks a variety of game modes, but it is a very polished final product. Would it have been better to release for $30-40 and then charge a season pass of $20?
Everyone will have their opinion, but I will point out that Nintendo has been super late to the show with DLC and toys to life practices.
Not to mention that Mario Kart 8 DLC is...
OoT is better they run the same engine and while the masks added gameplay mechanics not seen again OoT had the luxury of encouraging exploration. Majoras mask has it to but not at your leisure.
Windwaker HD replaced OoT as my favorite 3D Zelda. Twilight still has my favorite dungeons of the series though.
