Yeah, it seems as though the head of 777 Studios has a bit of entitlement problem.
lol @ "I need comrades, not customers."
Exactly, 2006. The good old days.
From Bethesda's VP:
"It was game we believed in, but we never felt that it got to where it needed to be – we never saw a path to success if we finished it. It wasn’t up to our quality standard, and we decided to cancel it. It’s no longer in development. That wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one that won’t surprise many folks given that we hadn’t been talking about it. Human Head Studios is no longer working on it. It’s a franchise we still believe we can do somethin...
Haha, GIF made me lol hard. In all honesty though, I'm pretty bummed. I was a big fan of the first one...and man, that E3 2011 trailer was impressive.
That;s what I'm saying. I know it's not economically intelligent or even remotely possible these days, but I would love it if a developer didn't ship a game until they've done 100% that they could ever do with it. Like that's it. It's objectively a great game, nothing more could be added to it. Here you go. Enjoy.
"Don't worry, they said. It'll be fine, they said..."
Bur really, it is a bit sad to see Bungie fall from glory. Still a good game, but I don't think it's what many people wanted or expected it to be.
Haha, I'm wondering whether it's true or not, or if it's some altruistic spin on damage control.
Haha, clever Firaxis is clever.
Next year's holiday season will potentially be even more crazy than this year's holiday season.
That is indeed very possible.
At least it wouldn't explode the earth...Fallout 4 IRL.
Same here.
I'm really interested in what engine Bethesda will be using for new Fallout/TES games. Because in all honesty, Gamebryo has got to goooo.
Same here, Skywind really is ambitious. The only thing I'm worried about is whether or not it will be completed 100%.
omg yes.
GTA:SA looks great with the proper ENB and high-resolution texture packs. No doubt about it. Now if only proper controller and widescreen support were added to the game...
That would be pretty good. I have it on my Nexus 7 for pete's sake, haha.
Yup, addressed in the article. It may be that the game is being updated to include widescreen/Xinput support and possibly Steam achievements to coincide with the 360 release (as well as the game's 10th anniversary this coming week).
Same here, hoping that the PC port turns out well.
I agree, it's getting a bit stale with the whole gameplay loop of traversal - stealth - take on fortified tower/outpost - repeat.
Haha, not sure how well that'd turn out, but I'd be willing to try it out.
