Yes i agree, i'm not sold on my melee swipe idea either, i'm just trying to think on the spot of other options and alternatives rather than having it repeatedly spelled onscreen, taking away from the amazing visuals. Like you say, i also prefer the way the The Last Of Us handles these moments.

Come to think of it, as you mention these demo's are in a sense tutorials for the public, hence the use of the prompts and hopefully when the full game is released these wil...

I can't help but feel that the developers have missed a trick here.
They are obviously going for a strong, story driven and cinematic atmosphere and so far, the game to me is a visual, technical triumph and is truly a sight to behold.

However, i am disappointed that this highly immersive world that the developers have crafted, is spoiled and marred somewhat with all the constant on-screen button prompts. I find it highly jarring and it completely pulls me out of t...

Good grief these graphics are absolutely stunning. If i was to have one gripe however, it's that i feel the onscreen triangle logo breaks the immersion for me somewhat, especially when performing a melee move.

I realise the developers are really trying to make this game a story driven and cinematic experience, so i'm hopeful that they may allow us to completely disable the hud/on screen prompts and perhaps utilise the dualshock by making it vibrate -light up - flash w...

If i was to have one minor quibble, i'm finding it a smidgeon tricky and somewhat cumbersome using the controls to shoot from a vehicle, other than that i absolutely love the game and the new first person perspective is the work of immersive genius.

At night in a thunderstorm on The Boulevard Strip, with the neon lights gleaming and the different reflections bouncing off the traffic in all directions, while wheel spinning a neon under lit muscle car, to the sound of Johnn...

I really like that Rockstar went the extra mile and implemented some splendid features into the dualshock controller, such as the police radio coming through the speaker and using the touch screen as a mouse when using the in game internet. I'm not going to get into which version is best, other than to say, that i completed this on ps3 last year and i'm currently half way through the Ps4 version and when everything comes together regarding lighting, art style and other graphical effec...

Cheers Audiggity, hopefully it will be out soon for you to enjoy on the PC. I'm truly astonished when you look into the finer details and scale at what Rockstar has achieved with the next gen versions, it's really remarkable in places. Enjoy it when you get it.

Bravo Rockstar you have done it yet again.

I completed this on ps3 last year and i wasn't really planning on buying it again. What made me change my mind was the new first person mode.

I have been playing non stop for the last 4 hours just getting myself immersed in the environment and when everything comes together with the added graphical effects and lighting this game is truly an astonishing sight to behold, it's like you have complete control in d...

For me, I put some music onto a usb stick and inserted it into my ps4 and it automatically appeared along the top bar, it says usb music player. I'm listening to my music as i type this on internet.

One of my most disappointing games, was a Terminator movie tie in game. It was a basic left to right side scrolling shooter. I can't recall if it was on Commodore 64 or Mega Drive, but what made this game such a disappointing pile of poop was i completed the entire game in approximately 10 minutes or less.

Of the more modern games, i was most disappointed with Resident Evil 6. I am the most placid, mild mannered and laid back type of chaps but after enduring multiple, dre...

Perhaps pip Spencer has sent round his bully boy minions to try and optimize the resolution and therefore at this moment he can't give a definitive answer as things may perhaps change in the few remaining weeks before release or they might have a post release 1080p patch in the pipeline.

However as others have said, by virtue of the fact that he omitted to give an answer, leads me to err on the side that currently the game on Xbox One may be 900p.

If there was no visible difference, then why is that guy who likes to pretend he is a gamer Spencer, sending round his minions, to various developers around the globe, trying to bring the Xbox One resolutions up toward the 900p and 1080p mark, case in point Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer. The resolution differences, for me are very clear to see.

My sincere apologies for my idiotic post above, which was meant to be said in jest but came out wrong, it was not my intention at all to make light of such matters pertaining to suicide etc.

I want the ability back to download videos of ravashing flibbertigibbet's frolicking around naked onto my hard drive, while i am listening to my Dean Martin record collection, adding family photos and simultaneously downloading a summer block buster movie for free in the background.

Then i wan't to be able to put it all on a USB stick.

I had this very same problem and the very tiniest smidgeons of WD40, which is NOT recommended did indeed solve the problem.

I guess i'm one of those greasy people. I really do not like the PS4 controller at all, i can find numerous faults with it and i much prefer my PS3 controller.

To me the PS3 controller feels more robust. PS4 feels cheap and components are too plastic in feel.

There are a lot of elements and parts in the PS4 controller that i feel are not built to last and will break in due time, such as the touch screen and speaker. The speaker is not loud enough, sounds ...

I absolutely love this game it's ace, my only problem is that i have fully upgraded the Jackdaw, yet i still can't sink those pesky legendary ships.

I only have 4 retail games on PS4 so far, Infamous, Wolfenstein, Metal Gear Demo and Assasin's Creed black flag is my favourite.

The graphics are awesome, i especially love it when the waves crash down onto the deck of my ship. Infamous, for me was somewhat of a disappointment and although a techn...

I am surprised that Chop (GTAV) didn't merit an honourable mention, not least for his sh@gg!ng abilities.

While i agree Nathon Fillion or Gerry Butler would do an admirable job filling the role, i however feel that the money men in Hollywood are looking to create a franchise, so sadly by the time it came to film the subsequent sequels down the line, these fellows will be a smidgeon too old for the part.

Never really been a fan of Christian Bale who i have had the mispleasure to work with in the past.

Ben Affleck although highly talented in other areas through his...

Hollywood will as per usual totally fu.k this up, their choice of director is terrible, he, much like the last chump wants to branch off and do his own thing. It would not surprise me in the least if he casts Jason Bateman as Drake and he sets the entire film in say Chicago.

Sony have control over this, if they grew a pair of balls they could hand this over to Welsh director Gareth Evans, who could use his stunt crew and film an action packed pirate tale in Indonesia, perhap...
