You lost me at Ubisoft.
Glad someone else sees it. Was starting to think I was the only one.
This headline could be written as "Why Do People Think Better Sales Means Better Product?" It's not just gaming that suffers from this narrow minded view.
New and fresh to the series? I suppose, from a certain perspective.
New and fresh in general? LOL They took a handful of horror movies, smashed them all together into a first person house roaming "game" and called it a day.
We've already got a Switch. They're called "tablets". Late to the party Nintendo. See you in 3 years after you pull life support from this thing.
As much as it may pain me to give them props, MS is doing rather well on this BC project. Very, very cool.
Being that XIII was the first step in the series' overall drop in quality and reception? Ya, not a very good comparison figure.
I intend to scoop this up in the bargain bin in a couple weeks, just to have kickin around.....
Might use it to play frisbee with my dog. We'll see.
lol Wow. Nintendo once again being the little kid on the block. The more things change......
Yes. Yes it is.
Good write up, but, can't get on board with this myself. PC is just far too flexible for me to get (mainly) into a locked down box.
To each their own though of course. Sounds like you found your ideal set up, which is cool.
Capcom's Marketing Chief. LOL I almost fell out of my chair just reading that alone.
Ya, Capcom will be gutted when they see RE VII fall flat on its face, left scratching their heads in wonder why yet another RE game is panned.
Sure thing. I love buying a game, playing it, wanting to sell it, and it having no value whatsoever as I don't actually have anything to sell.
It's a great system. Kill used sales, lock people to their games like baggage forever, or until said service goes belly up, then wash your hands of your customers and owe them nothing. Bend people over with EULA's that can contain basically anything you want, and they have to accept them.
Digit...
lol The hype for this mess. Same hype that FF XV had, was released, and is already swept under the rug, ready to hit the bargain bin in a week or so.
Feel bad for people biting on this rotten apple. Lots of regret forthcoming.
Activision : "What? People are playing MW1 instead of IW? Quick, MTs and Supply Drops to MW1!!!!!"
We've come to.... better graphics, crappier gameplay, crappier stories, and half the game on disc, while the other half is on some server somewhere in the world.
I think that about sums it up.
Normally, I might care about always online crap, but this is Ubisoft trash. lol
No, I don't care. Moving along.......
It's about time. Hurry it up already.
VR will be worthwhile in about 5-10 years. This stuff is nothing more than a tv strapped to your face with motion controls. Heck, you even see those idiotic face masks you can buy to strap your phone on to it for "VR".
Feel bad for people investing in this trash. I'm sure they think it's all great at the moment, but they'll be looking at it sitting in their closet in a year or 2 and regret every penny thrown at it.
