Given its performance and features, I think the price fits the offering. $500 for true 4K rendering in a set top box, is quite nice.

In all fairness, it's called a transition period, and it happens in all technology fronts. Somewhere, something is holding back something else during the transitional period. Media holds back TV capabilities, etc. etc. Nothing really new to see here.
Will PS4Pro "hold back" XOne X? Possibly, if devs and pubs choose to do so, but to a very, VERY marginal degree. It's not like we're comparing PS2 to PS1 caliber differences here.
