While the customization of armor is great and all, I think the lack of specific weapon timer spawns is going to hurt the hard core online players.
A lot of the success Halo had with MLG was that it was such a balanced all around game, with so many thing to constantly keep in your head. Halo 3 got huge because of the little things. Everything from the sound of a weapon as you pick it up, let you know what weapon your opponent had before you even turned the corner.

Wikipedia is actually one of the most accurate sources of information. I remember when I was in High school we had a debate class, one student wrote a direct debate to our English teacher about how Wikipedia is indeed a very reliable website.
He actually provided multiple facts and sources that showed, on average, how quickly a false piece of information was correctly changed. Any thing from a recently created Wikipedia page to something as old as how bread was created.
Not going to lie, the graphics look a lot better than Halo Reach. As much as I hated Halo 2's single player, and loved Halo Reach, I still sold my 360 recently because it just became a large USB charging port for me.

Valve doesn't really control the launch price of games. If a dev wants to sell it at $59 at launch, Valve has to put it on steam for that price. Valve is still the king of discounts though, they try as hard as possible. Right now the only negative thing about steam is that EA is pretty much pulling support of it thanks to their crap product. I still don't see Origin getting that far. I can't imagine it'll have surpass Steam.

I'd buy this day 1. Imagine if they Launched the Steam Box exclusively with HL2:EP3? Knowing Valve they have delayed the New Counter Strike (since I haven't heard anything about it since december) and they will also launch that on this box as a launch title.
The only problem with this idea? It will lack BIG EA titles, like Crysis, Battlefield, and Mass Effect. All three of those games were taken off Steam, but that's why I'd still have my PS3 :-D.

After skipping Brotherhood and whatever the latest one was, maybe I'll come back to this one. Ubisoft is milking this franchise so bad it's getting ridiculous. They should have just spent two or three years making AC3 right after AC2 instead of making two average games just to get as much money as possible.
I guess that's what happens when your a giant company as big as Ubisoft and still only manage to make one good franchise per console generation.
Mass Effect 2 in general seemed to take a lot of little things from Firefly. For instance, there are Reapers (which is close to the Reavers of Firefly). And the Reavers are similarish to the Collectors of ME2. Without the rape part.
EDIT: As a side note, I'm also one of the few people that think Shepard (male) is one of the worst voice actors in the game. In my opinion his voice always just seems so flat. Even in intense situations. And his tone should change dramaticall...

Anybody that thinks they are going to be playing an online FPS via a 3G connection, well, they have another thing coming. WiFi, yes. 3G (even 4G usually) = terrible latency.
What is more strange is they don't even seem willing to dedicate some time to adding it in a future update, ya know, when their team isn't swamped with work...
Doesn't help that Colt McCoy had a pretty bad year as well. I live in Ohio, I'm an Indians, Cavs, and Browns fan. But McCoy choked almost every game. We started the season decently well, and after that he looked like he just gave up. Seneca Wallace played better than McCoy in my opinion.

In my opinion Square has been going downhill since they merged with Enix. The days of rpgs like Xenogears, Chrono Series, and FF 6-9 are gone. Secret of Mana was the last good 'mana' game. Star Ocean went to crap after 2. Dragon Quest 8 I will say is probably the best game squareenix has out out in years and everyone seems to have forgotten about it because it had at first glance an 'ancient' battle system.

I mean, come on, square has to have a reason for still shutting down all the chrono trigger mods people make. Crimson Echos being the latest one, they were in the middle of something special and square knew it.
Demons and Dark Souls come to mind... dark souls especially. I easily have over 300 hours on that game. The interesting part about that, they didnt fill the game with hours of pointless walking, it isn't littered with bugs, game breaking quests, and sub par combat. Skyrim has the best combat system Bethesda has ever had in either fallout or their elder scroll games, and yet its still pretty bland.
