This video took away anydoubts I had about the game. Everything looked great before, but I wasn't feeling the battle system. But all this "tweaking" is really turning this into an overall awesome package. Definately a must buy for me.

I remember playing soul calibur 2 with my buds every weekend for months and months, so many memories, and practically something for every character. Can't wait to see what kind of modes the game will have. The dungeon in 2 with different objectives was really fun, and 3's psuedo RTS fighter was great.

You are correct its ids, I played the Japanese Version back in July, anyone looking forward to folklore, I give one fair warning. You go through every area twice as Ellen or Keats. Still a very fun game, and I'm happy with the time I spent playing it. There is a create an online dungeon system that can add play value, but its pretty basic. The story was quite good, suspense, thriller fans will surely love it.
Its also hard to expect the sales to be good, when every part of the media says to rent the game.... -.-
Yeah the problem with UT is that its not hyped up so everybody and their grandmother knows about it. Although don't get me wrong I think this will be the FPS of the year. I just hate the fact that innovative games like these with even more replayability than others, don't get the credit they deserve... and I honestly credit that to the hype machine. Economically this may not be their top priority. I'm not sure if there are backdoor deals or other things we are unaware of, but squarenix has been known to try and make top quality games, and put their all into it. Heck thats how we got the franchise final fantasy, and square even stayed afloat. I believe that has given them a philosophy to strive for the best, and that is why they are optimizing for one system. Dream as we may some of us will never be able to live down the classics we grew up with, and the impressions they left on us. Not to say it isn't possible but it sure as hell is tough. Though even if we don't view it as the greatest, these games are sure to be great, and for another generation these will be their FFVIs and VIIs (I personally really liked VIII as well).

Its true this Console war is real BS. What it all comes down to, are what kind of games do you like, and which system better fits those needs. So what if what you like, isn't as popular or selling as well, or hyped beyond all holy hell. Too many people need numbers or review scores these days. Make your own decisions, play what you like, and don't look back for everyone's approval.
