@gamenamefame
Sooo if your saying that if MS had not only better exclusives but more must have exclusives even at 720p no hardcore gamers will care?
If that's the case then I would question their self proclaimed title of a hardcore gamer.
@Xtra
With your distrust and loathing of MS would you really want MS to own "true" 1st party titles. From you view it only seems best that MS distances themselves from any of the actual grunt work. Just saying.
I have an X1. Never used the disc drive for anything ever. I only used the disc drive for my 360 to play games. The only negative thing I see about this is the fact that I already have an X1 but could have waited a few months to get a cheaper one smh.
If you are a digital only consumer this is perfect.
You miss the point completely
The only positive is that it adds a catolauge of games to the PS4.
There are many reasons why pull shouldn't care about PS now
1) chances are you have already played these games
2) if you already own it but don't have the system to play it on you have to pay for it again
3) it's internet dependent. (IMO not too big of a deal but still)
4) not all games will be featured in PS now especially games that wee not super popular.

To be honest any game that uses servers in any way shows what could be used in MS cloud. Forza is definitely using the cloud right. TitanFall uses it for big worlds as well as supporting a large number of AI. There are videos from NVIDIA showing cloud processing lighting. You could use it for world deformations or even model deformations. Physics and weather.
There are many things you can use it for just think outside the box.

L4D has a considerable lower player count but no one is up in arms. Why is that? Oh it's because the game play suites the player count. Could they have had 12v12? Probably but it's irelavent if the game mechanisms aren't good.
Plz someone tell me why and game MUST have a high player count? Just to say "oh yea I can play with 63 other knuckle heads so this game MUST be better"
All the ppl that got to play the game had a blast. It got the most awards at E3 and blah blah blah. You ppl do know that those who hype this game up played 7v7 in the demos. And guess what? The.....had.....FUN! It's strange how the word fun doesn't always imply any specific numbers. Something either is or isn't.
These days ppl seem to praise numbers far before functionality so its no surprise.
No one wants to cuz no one expects that to happen (console game I mean. Not games like angry bird).
If my tablet could play Halo 5 and I could use an X1 controller I would prefer using the tablet. I'm sure most ppl would too. And if you want to argue about screen size it wouldn't be hard to imagine an HDMI out to a TV or something like the Vita TV or Apple TV. Then you can use any TV you want or even none at all
Yes they are and that is one of their goals. As soon as it gets out of the prototype phase you can bet your sweet cheeks it will be in the next shield.
I'm not an auction house guy or a micro transaction guy myself but what I can tell you is that after completing only 2 race series with my first car and VERY minimum upgrades I was able to get half a million in almost a day. They make making money very easy. Idk if it was like this before or after they fixed the micro traction issue tho.
I personally have never had so much fun playing a racing game in my life. The impulse triggers really do make a dif. I only with they would thr...
If you played Forza 5 you wouldn't be "as" disappointed as you think you should be.
@edge
Forza was a launch title. Although I dis expect more cars and tracks then given I wouldn't take too much credit away from them. Seeing how there are no other racing games to compare it too it seems pointless. The time and effort that goes into these things grow with each generation. If drive club was released in the same month as Forza AND had far more cars and tracks THEN you would have a great point.
My biggest problem is that if you want the same # of ca...
@aiBreeze
There is no awkward pause or much of a delay at all.
If you want to say "xbox" and wait for the menu to pop up you can. Or you can just say the command intended. The "xbox" menu HAS a delay but it doesn't mean you can't move on.
If I say "Xbox got to Hulu plus" no menu pops up and it just goes straight to hulu.
I was most surprised by using Bing. Surprised right? Lol
You can just say what you are search...
I would argue the other way around. I got my X1 Monday and I have to say one of their biggest failures is not teaching ppl how to use it properly. Kinect is totally worth it. Does it cater to more casual? Yes but on some level we are all casuals. The level of potential for the X1 far exceeds the PS4. Not because the PS4 is not physically capable but because the PS4 will only be seen as a gaming machine.
As far as out dated hardware goes BOTH consoles are out dated. The PS4 is just no...
Not really comparable with xbox one.
@thatenglishdude
Ppl said the same thing as a whole for the new kinect. Buttons are always faster they said. Now the kinect comes out and some ppl tend to use the kinect more then their controller. Also some things are made faster by using the kinect.
Things MS promised with the kinect ppl didn't believe. Now it's out and MS was telling the truth with a good portion of the kinect to actually make it usefull.
To say no one will EVER use or ca...
And that's the sad part about it. I've seen video of ppl trying to use the kinect. When they don't use it properly (which subsequently means it doesn't "work") they chuck it up to "the kinect is shit".
On the other hand I've seen ppl use it right and it don't respond properly. But the ppl using it right have a far higher success rate then those that are just plain stupid or impatient.
Mine works better as well. I could never use the "xbox on" command. Now I use it all the time. It's like magic lol
