I hope nobody got paid to write this.
Maybe because games are becoming the same and getting stale and people are not buying them as much as they used to...like myself. Almost everything is a shooter nowadays. Even worse when they are getting shorter and more linear. Growing weary of this shit. I think I'll find a new hobby by next-gen.
Awesome. I'll get Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders.
I really hope not. It would be a future where you would end up coughing up way more cash just to enjoy a 10-hour single-player than you would if you purchase a $60 dollar retail game. Have fun spending upwards $100+ if you really want anything better than a glorified demo. Free MMOs make up a prime example, most of them are mediocre to paid MMOs because you are only as good as the money you spend for your character, or you could just spend 10-15 a month and have access to a few hundred times ...
Can't wait to get this. Between Darksiders and this I am going to be busy for a long time.
While all this horsepower is nice and all but what games are actually worth buying apart from Gravity Rush, and to a lesser extent, Uncharted? Not many. Modnation is a colossal piece of shit that doesn't hold a candle to the PS3 version, and Resistance is the most generic and boring first person shooter I have ever seen in my life. The rest are mostly ports only 9 people in the entire world would actually buy a Vita for. Wake up, the system in its current stage is nothing special and it w...
Like GameCube but uglier. :(
But then again most of us will get used to it in a year or two...
This is the ugliest controller I've seen in my entire life.
This video is a waste of internet bandwidth.
I don't even recall the last time I ever purchased an Activision game, but definitely not going to play this. I am not some 12 year old with billionaire parents handling every game to me on a silver platter. This game tends to market to that demographic.
Funny because most PC games I have look way better than Uncharted 3. You probably haven't even played a PC game in recent years.
From what it looks this will probably be the last handheld from Sony. The company doesn't know what to do with the Vita. There is only like 1 or 2 games on it so far that I would actually play. Much of it is ports, and most gamers don't want to play Arkham City or Call of Duty on the road hunched over a 5" screen, when they can play the same games on a 42" one or even bigger. It doesn't matter how good the graphics look. It's just a handheld, and you are restricted o...
Uncharted 1 > all other Uncharted games.
Stupid shit like this ruined the PS3 for me and drove me back to PC gaming.
Sooooo sick of Valve games rehashing the outdated ancient Source engine again, again and again. A new engine is a must. You can play any of their games even run on a netbook. There is only so much you can do with rusted metal.
Lack of games aside, there is something most Sony die-hards won't admit, but including a memory card in every system is something Sony should have done since the beginning. It's like selling the PS3 without a hard drive, with no internal memory to serve as a placeholder, and having every game requiring you to spend more additional money for a hard drive to even run your first game... Completely moronic decision on their part. The system clearly wasn't equipped to work out of the b...
How was it a benchmark for consoles? Was it the linearity? Was it the light platforming elements? Was it the Nolan North voice acting? Was it the...oh I think you are proving my point that 99.9% of gamers think graphics are the only important quality of a video game.
I disagree with MOST of this list, to be honest. Uncharted 1 is probably the best game that you came up with. I am probably the least fanboyish of all PS3 owners on the entire planet but Uncharted 1 really is a good game. It was a game that actually had some depth and meaning, and a game I enjoyed playing on multiple playthroughs. Uncharted 2 on the other hand certainly wasn't as good...by a long shot. Getting the platinum was painful and the story was dull and boring. It was also heavily...
Because Activision sold out their original fanbase and dumb it down for the masses? Because it is the next WoW? Because the games are designed around shameful cash grab tactics? Because the quality of the franchise is swirling down the toilet at every subsequent installation? Because it is the Justin Bieber of video games?
Good luck with Xbox Live on PC, M$. PC gamers are not going to spend 60 a year just for P2P gaming when we already have something better on PC. Don't you even realize that? Can't wait to pirate this on day 1. You just made my decision easier.
