Lara has more appeal then Drake.

So what, you can combine all the Sony's first party exclusives and you might come close to sales of just ONE CoD game.
Sony has only one exclusive game that can somewhat push hardware, and that's Gran Turismo.
But Pholiphony D. releases one GT game every 5-6 years.
Think about me as a Sony hater or troll, but wait and see how many ps4 units Sony will manage to sell in first year, considering all the great first party games.

There are more people that are interested in new Borderlands or any other multiplat game then there are in new Killzone.

Same will happen next gen, Sony and Ms will be forced to sell their hardware with loss to compete with WiiU.

But generic shooter comes with generic multiplayer mode, and today's audience want mp.
Even Tomb Raider needs mp now days.
MGR is a good game, but it is to short to justify 60$ price, just rent it.
There are many games with similar DRM, Warhawk has it and it's a launch game and a Sony game on top of that.
What about GT5 DLC, it's also locked, and can't be sheared.
Expect more of this DRM with each day and release, and even more for the next gen systems.
First those games need to run in 60fps to consider oculus rift.
It will happen eventually, but first ps4 needs to be cracked and I think that this will happen sooner because x86 architecture.
Regarding 8GB ram and speed, don't forget how quick technology progress.
In two years 8GB GDDR5 graphics cards could be standard or even a mid range card.
And ps4 1.8 TFLOP GPU is mid range GPU by today pc standard.
We already have a half fineshed ps3 emulator runing on pc, and ps3 is complicated as hell.

Imagine you have microtransactions in every game, would this mean you would stop buying and playing games?

I agree for the lack of puzzles, but we might see some in the next game, at least I hope so.
Anniversary is still the best TR game, for me at least.
So a perfect TR game would be a mix of Anniversary and new reboot game mechanics.
