Lol you people who flat out state nintendo should NOT include party chat are very selfish. Adding it wont detract anything from the wii u, and it will satisfy those who like to chat with friends cross-game. Saying it shouldnt be included is inconsiderate.

No wii u has always had game chat, this refers to video chat which i guess just now got headset support instead of using the built in mic.
Whoever disagreed does NOT own a wii u >_>. Wii u chat is a completely different thing than in game chat. Theyve been selling wii u headsets since launch people.
How is it a return to form? They didnt show any hint of assassination until the last 10 seconds of the trailer. It puts even more focus on the naval combat from 3. The series is a lost cause without its creator, and that regulates every iteration to the bargain bin.
I like it, its a decent selling point on wii u. I can enjoy all the wii games (far too many, like many others i neglected some great stuff on wii) i missed in hd on wii u. I think its a great novelty to unplug my wii and replace it with the wii u and know my wii can sit in its box for a long time.
Wii u is the most powerful system on the market, it is a substantial leap above 360/ps3. The list of 1080p/60fps games prove that.
It seems like this gen everyone just takes the crap for loading. Games will have like 20-30 second load times and no one cares anymore. I remember jak 2 and metroid prime were praised for their ability to mask load times.

as if the suits up in ubisoft said "hey the splinter cell sales on a platform that has 1/20th of the sales of the other 2 platforms are really unimpressive, let's go ahead and pretend it doesnt exist."
As long as its not like sticker star or super paper mario i wouldnt mind a new one. But personally a new fire emblem or advance wars would be preferrable :D

Bubble interesting. Gamecube was bad hardware sales VERY impressive software sales. I honestly never heard of a lot of the mature games on wii until years after they were out, a lot werent well advertised.
i played shin megami tensei 4 recently, im surprised nintendo gave the game the go, nonetheless made it exclusive! Theres TONS of religious commentary in that game. After the binding of isaac debacle i was pretty surprised to see smt 4 exclusive to a nintendo platform.

they're talking about in relation to other wii u games. most of them take 6-7 gigs. im surprised it takes up so much since the graphics are fairly minimalistic (they look good but not a lot of heavy texture work that usually goes into games that take up that much space).
But that is to be expected as wii u fades out of last gen and into games based on its hardware.
