wow, well said. that really got me thinking. it reminds me of the dreamcast, there was a system with creativity up the ass.
I cant wait to get a wii u personally, it looks like a promising system. plus i can play all the wii games i (like many gamers) neglected. like nmh, madworld, xenoblade and some of the greats.
Yeah look at how sega reacted to eas refusal to put madden games on dreamcast, they made their own sports series. Then they opened loads of studios and pumped out tons of games in just a few years. THAT is what needs to happen.
I think history will look back on wii u similarly to the dreamcast personally.

not to mention they made money off the gamecube even when it only sold 22 million units, that's pretty impressive

Simply put the wii could NOT run bayonetta 2. Not even a downscaled version. Id be surprised if it ran 1. X is supposedly using almost all the power in the wii u so it definitely couldnt run on a wii. Mario kart 8 is the best looking, highest resolution game in the series, perhaps if it ran on the mk wii engine it could be made on the wii. But the same could be said for every racing game - they dont evolutionize much beyond looking and sounding better
Yeah i was sad it got delayed then i realized i can use the money i was going to spend on DK on sonic lost world since theyre both 50 dollars. So i can still buy every wii u exclusive this year :D
I also hope deus ex isnt a botched port because i never got to play human revolution and the wii u version looks so good.

Yeah, thats because there arent any ps3 games that run native 1080p except okami hd and rayman and stuff like that.
The wii u is probably 100% capable of running this game in 1080p if it can run mk8 and bayonetta 2 in 1080p. This is just a first with the 3d mario game looking worse than other games.
Well even then from what little ive seen of mk8, it has much more detailed characters, shaders, effects in general.
This game doesnt need any of that but i still think 1080p would make this game a lot more impressive. In the past flagship mario games have been graphical showcases.
This is disappointing since mario kart 8 runs at 1080p and looks miles better.

Im sorry but SS is overrated. A sequel that subtracts from what made the series what it was (nonlinearity) is not a great game. That combined with the incessant hand holding, uninspired dungeons, and VERY annoying side character make the game par at best. The usually intuitive controls dont make up for it.
