i couldn't find a ps4 or xbox one everywhere i went.

A lot of PS4's best games are on other platforms, including Wii U. I don't think Concertoine is being hypocritical by saying the older system has more games... that's kind of a given.
no self hosted servers, no squad join with dice saying they have no plans to reincorporate it, less classes, no bots, less factions, and no mod support. along with connection issues and bugs galore. and for what? prettier graphics and a october release date? some laughably pretentious destruction?

this is a pretty selective list...
they aren't always very biased. i can think of instances where they gave reviews higher than the average to sony games. even towards 360 games they can be harsh.

Why would a remake of an N64 game launch DS sales? How is the position of the Gamecube relevant to whether or not Sunshine helped save it (which it did)?
NSMB is the casual's game, the 3D mario's are more hardcore. 3D World is a blend, and brilliant in that sense.

they really missed the boat with mario kart 8 i think. theres just a lame map on the gamepad when they couldve gotten rid of the map entirely and replaced it with a rearview mirror. would be perfect for lining up shells and bananas, and would add an element of strategy
People will call this an acknowledgement of defeat or some BS. I think it's nintendo accepting the role theyve had since the wii, that of a secondary console or one perfect for their fans.

The gamecube had good games and was a fraction of the price of its competitirs and it still sold the worst. It was miles ahead of the ps2 but still short of the xbox.

No one said Pikmin 3 would sell systems, it sold way more hardware than anyone expected. Its a niche title and a sequel to a meh selling gamecube game. Also no one said the wonderful 101 would sell systems, no one smart anyway. Its a niche title made by a developer notorious for poor selling games (platinum). Sonic is an exception, because we thought that would actually be a decent game when reviews are looking bad. Either way its not even out in the US so no way to gauge how...
